XGEN AI announces revolutionary AI solution for retail sites

A new era of AI is upon us. With major players including Walmart and Amazon utilising AI to enhance shopping experiences, XGEN AI is taking things one step further. They are democratising AI for retail stores, by introducing their suite of tools to the market. One of their stand-out products is an AI-search function. By using generative AI, answers can be provided to customer questions. This helps to provide a more personalised and intuitive shopping experience.

XGEN AI - Retail TechnologyDynamic product recommendations

XGEN AI’s new AI tool can also make product recommendations based on specific goals. If a company wants to increase sales for high-demand or high-profit margin products, then AI will drive recommendations to achieve the desired outcome. This isn’t the first time that sites have utilised AI to better user experiences. The casino sector is another example of how AI can be used, as sites often recommend games based on past playing experiences.

Someone who plays European roulette one day may have American roulette recommended the next. While European and American roulette games may vary slightly, the best roulette wheel numbers remain consistent across both versions. This shows that recommendations can provide a fresh experience for players while still aligning with their preferences. The more a player opens different games, the more dynamic and personalised game recommendations become, but it seems that the retail sector has been slow to adopt this in full.

The main reason is that people’s shopping preferences change very quickly. Someone may be shopping for women’s clothing first of all, and then go on to buy children’s clothes. This makes it hard for retail owners to anticipate what someone may want to buy, but XGEN AI is hoping to change that.

XGEN AI - Retail TechnologyConversational shopping assistants

The company has announced that they are working on releasing tools so that retail sites can create their conversational assistants. By tailoring tools to the unique features of the eCommerce sector, vertical artificial intelligence could well be both transformational and influential over the next few years. Retail giants have already introduced AI in an attempt to better shopping experiences, and the startup has already gained traction by working with numerous brands. This includes Sonos, Golden Goose and Reformation. With $16 million in funding and discussions for additional investments ongoing, XGEN AI has every chance of being able to influence the way that people shop online.

They aim to make sure that people find the products they need, in instances where a traditional search could fall short. The eCommerce sector is continually evolving and by democratising AI, brands can become more competitive. As the evolution of AI continues, the entry point becomes more affordable too. At one point, only big brands could afford to invest in new and upcoming tech, but with the evolution of chatbots and sales assistant software, even start-ups have been able to take advantage of the AI movement.

XGEN AI currently has several pre-trained models to choose from, but proprietary data can be used to train models even further. This ultimately means that retail sites can create their customised search engine in as little as one week.
