Zyliss unveils new oak wood utensils – classic craftsmanship meets modern sustainability

Zyliss Zyliss, the trusted Swiss kitchen brand renowned for its innovative design, lasting quality and commitment to sustainability, has unveiled its new ‘oak wood utensils’ range – a timeless, eco-conscious line designed for comfort, control and everyday cooking.

Crafted with FSC® 100% certified oak wood handles from responsibly managed forests, the collection brings a natural, classic look to the kitchen while ensuring durability and sustainability. Each tool pairs the warmth of oak wood with thoughtfully engineered heads – safe for non-stick cookware, heat-resistant and designed to perform for years to come.

As Autumn approaches, with hearty soups, stews, and slow-cooked meals taking centre stage, the ‘oak wood utensils’ range offers home cooks the perfect tools for the season. The line-up includes:

  • Easy Lift Turner – with a thin, flexible silicone edge that slides under delicate foods without tearing.
  • Slotted Turner – designed to lift, flip, and drain with ease, perfect for fried or delicate foods.
  • Ladle L – with a deep bowl and clever no-roll base, ideal for serving soups, stews, and sauces.
  • Spaghetti Server – with a built-in portion gap for measuring and serving pasta precisely.
  • Spoon L – versatile for stirring, scooping, and serving, with a flat-edge tip to scrape every last bit from pans.

Every utensil is lightweight yet sturdy, designed for daily use and backed by a 5-year guarantee. Retailing at £10 each, they are practical, sustainable additions to any kitchen.

The collection also reflects Zyliss’s sustainability-first packaging philosophy: each utensil is presented in fully recyclable craft paper, secured with a cotton tie and metal fastening – removing the need for plastic while ensuring easy recycling.

Commenting on the launch, Heidi Thomas, Head of Marketing at DK Household Brands (including Zyliss), said:

“Cooking at home is a ritual that becomes especially comforting in Autumn – from stirring a simmering stew to serving a hearty bowl of pasta. With our ‘oak wood utensils,’ we wanted to combine classic craftsmanship with sustainable design, creating tools that feel great in the hand, perform beautifully and support a more eco-conscious kitchen. Every detail – from FSC® certified oak handles to recyclable packaging – has been considered to give customers the quality they expect from Zyliss while reducing environmental impact.”
