Today Superdrug and Savers announce a change to benefits for all team members. The two retailers will introduce a series of new wellbeing benefits to ensure employees feel financially supported throughout 2023, to help colleagues manage the rising cost of living. The new initiatives will also support physical and mental wellbeing with the introduction of new apps and health discounts.

Both brands have partnered with Wagestream, a financial wellbeing app which will enable team members to track their shifts and earnings in real time, help with budgeting, encourage them to put money aside for the future and give them the power to choose when to get paid with its flexible pay feature.

A new Digicare App, hosted by Aviva will also launch before the summer, giving team members access to free digital GP, mental health and nutritional consultations, alongside second medical opinions and an annual health check. The App will provide guidance & support to help detect, manage and prevent physical and mental health problems.

Finally, Superdrug and Savers will be building on existing staff discounts to further support with everyday living costs, offering team member’s 40% off Superdrug Own Brand and Exclusive products, plus 20% off Branded products four times a year, on top of the always on staff discount of 30% and 10%. Family and Friends can also benefit from offers four times a year with a 30% discount across Superdrug own brand.  Team Members will also receive 50% off Superdrug mobile sim plans, as well as a host of other discounts to help with the weekly shop or for fun days out with the family, through Superdrug’s Benefit Hub discount portal which is available to all employees.

Team members will also benefit from a 30% discount with Superdrug’s Health Clinics across a wide range of vaccines.

Amy Davies, people director at A.S.Watson Health and Beauty UK, adds: “The health and happiness of our team members is so important to us, and we want to do all that we can to support and encourage a happy and healthy life to everyone at Superdrug and Savers.

We appreciate our team members are individuals with differing needs and so we try to offer a wide range of benefits, to help everyone be the best versions of themselves. These progressive benefits are so important in rewarding the amazing contributions our colleagues make every day.

We have one of the most thriving Apprenticeship Schemes and know our colleagues to be the best and so our aim is to attract talent early and nurture career progression within our businesses, through competitive salaries, training and development opportunities and best in industry benefits.”
