Today, after much excitement, the LEGO Group opened the doors to its brand-new LEGO® Store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin. The new store is the brand’s latest location in Ireland, following the successful opening of the first ever Irish LEGO Store on Grafton Street in August 2022.

Located in the well-known Dublin shopping centre, the LEGO Store Blanchardstown is already delighting fans of all ages, with an exciting collection of sets and experiences. LEGO fans of all ages will have endless opportunities to fully immerse themselves in the creative and imaginative LEGO store.

The new 186sqm Blanchardstown LEGO store offers an extensive and exclusive range of new products including the new LEGO Icons Concorde and the LEGO Star Wars ™ Venator Class Republic Attack Cruiser. In addition, LEGO Insiders will receive benefits at the new store such as exclusive gifts with purchase, double points events and much more.

Beyond exciting sets, the new LEGO Store also features a range of experiences;

  • LEGO Pick-A-Brick Wall: a great way for customers to select the exact elements that they require for their builds. Builders can choose from a variety of colours, elements and shapes.
  • Build-a-Minifigure Tower: visitors can mix and match from a wide selection of bottoms, tops, heads, hair pieces and accessories to customise LEGO Minifigures.
  • Hands-on Play Opportunities: including free build challenges and events each month.
  • Store Associates: whether customers are picking out a gift, looking for the latest set or bringing a LEGO fan in for a special treat, the LEGO team can help find the perfect set for everyone.

What’s more, to celebrate the opening of the new store, there are exclusive offers for shoppers as well as a Halloween Ghost Hunt taking place in-store from the 26th – 31st October and a free Black Cat Make & Take activity taking place on the 28th and 29th October from 10:00am-12:00pm!

Amy Pearson, director, EMEA marketing at LEGO Retail, said: “We’re always so excited to bring new LEGO Stores to local communities and it’s been very special to open this one in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. We’ve had a fantastic turn out already on opening day and we look forward to welcoming more LEGO fans from across Dublin and neighbouring counties to experience what the store has to offer, which includes brilliant LEGO play experiences for all ages and a range of much-loved sets.”

Isobel Graham, senior director head of marketing LEGO UK/Ireland, the LEGO Group said: “As the LEGO Group’s second store in Ireland, we know there has been much excitement locally around this opening and it has been great to see so many people turn up to the launch today to enjoy the new store. Blanchardstown has a strong community pulse and is the shopping destination of choice for people far and wide across Ireland. We’re really looking forward for more people in the region to be able to fully immerse themselves in the joy of LEGO building.”

Sharon Walsh, leasing director, asset manager for Blanchardstown Centre, commented:“It’s great to have the LEGO store now open and we know adults and children alike will be hugely excited to visit the brand’s experiential store. We are always on the look out for stores offering something different for our customers and the interactive amenities such as the Pick-A-Brick Wall, Build-a-Minifigure Tower and extensive range of sets of products is what makes Blanchardstown Centre such a top destination in the Dublin area.”

Ireland’s first LEGO Store was launched in August 2022 on Grafton Street. The opening of the second LEGO Store at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre follows an extremely successful inaugural year for the Grafton Street location and continued interest in the brand from the LEGO Group’s Irish fanbase.

The LEGO Store Blanchardstown is located on Level 2 of Blanchardstown Centre, Blanchardstown Road S. Blanchardstown Dublin. The opening hours for the Store are 9am – 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am – 7pm on Saturdays and 10am – 6pm on Sundays.
