Go Zero Charge smart EV home charger available in 18 Costco locations

The team behind smart electric vehicle (EV) home charger Optimus, www.GoZeroCharge.com, is excited to announce that its smart EV home charger, Optimus, is now available in 18 of the 29 Costco stores in the UK.

Go Zero Charge proudly became the exclusive UK EV charger of Costco, one of the biggest brands in the world, in September after replacing a competitor brand. Costco members are able to purchase the Optimus, tethered with a five-metre cable, in-store and online at a discounted price of £799 + VAT (over £125 off).

Peter O’Brien, chief marketing officer at www.GoZeroCharge.com, commented: “Costco shares our passion for sustainability and we believe that the Optimus, our smart EV home charger, is the best product to assist Costco members who are making the decision to go electric.

“Owning a smart EV charger unlocks a new world of possibilities for homeowners. With the Optimus, homeowners can save money by scheduling charges based on cheaper, off-peak tariffs to save money and tracking real-time usage (cost and kWh), among other advanced charging functions.”

As a smart EV home charger, the Optimus eliminates the barrier of entry to EV charging. Equipped with cutting-edge technology that enables unmatched reliability, the Optimus is the leading choice for homeowners who want a charger that delivers convenience, reliability and savings.

Driven by an intelligent mobile app that maximises convenience, Optimus owners gain access to a range of advanced yet easy-to-use charging functions. For example, users can schedule charges based on cheaper, off-peak tariffs to save money on electricity bills* and easily monitor real-time usage (cost and kWh), providing total peace of mind.

Additionally, every charger is built with a health check system that refreshes every 60 seconds. EV drivers’ equivalent of a petrol station sits on the side of their house or garage – meaning reliability is essential. The Optimus’ 60-second ‘heartbeat’ sensor is setting it apart in the home chargers space.

Homeowners have the unique opportunity to share their charger with the public and earn additional supplemental income whenever it suits them, such as while at work or on holiday, while retaining full control over the charger unit – setting kWh charging tariffs and scheduling availability. Then, EV drivers can reserve the charger in advance and Go Zero Charge gives 100% of EV charging profits to the homeowner – directly transferred to your bank account at the end of each month.

The Optimus EV chargers are now available to purchase in-store at:

  • Glasgow

  • Liverpool

  • Leeds

  • Edinburgh

  • Gateshead

  • Derby

  • Oldham
