Loupe, the luxury diamond, fine jewellery and watch brand announces the launch of its second boutique in Croydon London, which opened on Friday 12th January 2024.

The boutique is located in Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon and is set across over 4,300 q ft of retail space. It features a large, dedicated 900sq ft showroom for prestigious watch brand, Rolex and an adjoining Rolex Authorised Service Centre, where clients can benefit from on-site watch adjustments and repairs. The Rolex Authorised Service Centre features a bespoke client viewing area in the workshop, where clients can interact and observe the Rolex accredited watchmaker on-site, while enjoying refreshments in a luxury seating area.

The new Rolex showroom will sit alongside Loupe’s own collection of breathtaking diamonds and the most exceptional contemporary fine jewellery, hand-selected by its experienced buying team, and distinguished by its own hallmark. The collection showcases several classic and modern pieces, from diamond rings to fine jewellery, in its thoughtfully curated collections such as Spyra, Confidante and Asteria. Made to perfection, each of Loupe’s iconic fine jewellery collections has its own unique story to tell, making Loupe the destination for exceptional luxury.

Loupe is a thoughtfully curated concept designed to meet the rising demand for immersive, hyper personal luxury retail, which is incredibly important to clients when purchasing higher value items and investment pieces. Every element has been considered in all boutiques to ensure a luxurious delightful shopping experience; the new Croydon boutique features a new extensive hosting area, including its own bar, feature lighting and luxurious Italian cotton, velvet and twill furnishings. For a truly personalised touch, Loupe even boasts a secret room, ‘The Drum,’ which is completely private and allows clients to listen to their own playlist through its media wall.

The boutique also houses brand new immersive showrooms for Swiss watch brand partners, OMEGA, Breitling and TUDOR. Other jewellery brands that can be found in the boutique include Royal Asscher and Mikimoto. Loupe will be the only stockist of Rolex, OMEGA, Breitling, TUDOR, Royal Asscher and Mikimoto in Croydon.

Loupe is a thoughtfully curated concept by Beaverbrooks, the 105-year-old family-owned jewellers with 87 stores nationwide. A project over five years in the making, with a total investment of more than £6 million, Loupe successfully transitioned from the well-known Lyons brand with the opening of its flagship boutique in June 2022 at centre:mk in Milton Keynes. Loupe is delighted to further develop the brand with its new Croydon boutique and a luxury e-commerce proposition. The Lyons, now Loupe, team will remain the same and continue to deliver an exceptional service to Loupe’s new and existing clients. The new boutique will also generate five jobs in the area.

Anna Blackburn, managing director at Beaverbrooks and Loupe who has spearheaded the development of the Loupe brand, says: “2024 will be a big year for Loupe, and we are thrilled to announce our expansion of the brand with the launch of our second Loupe boutique in Croydon and our luxury e-commerce proposition for online purchases.

“We are exceptionally proud to continue our partnership with iconic world-leading brand, Rolex in our second Loupe boutique, alongside our extensive offering of luxury Swiss watch brands including OMEGA, Breitling and TUDOR.

“With the rising demand for personal, immersive retail experiences, Loupe brings a fresh approach to the luxury sector. Even the name itself – which signifies the magnifying glass used by jewellers and watchmakers – has been chosen to break conventions and be memorable. It represents the concept of looking through a portal into an exciting new world and magnifying craft and beauty, offering luxuriously delightful experiences for both new and existing clients.

“Our Loupe boutique in Milton Keynes has achieved great success since opening in June 2022 and we’re excited to see this success continue with our Croydon boutique and beyond.”

Rob Keemer, boutique manager at Loupe Croydon, who boasts 30 years of experience in the jewellery sector, adds, “This is an incredibly exciting launch for Loupe and we look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to our Croydon boutique. With every element of the experience thoughtfully considered, the new Loupe boutique combines high specification fixtures with luxurious finishes where customers can truly relax whilst they explore the thoughtfully curated selection of jewellery, watches and diamonds.

“We are excited to build on the best-in-class service which started with the Lyons brand over 100 years ago. Lyons is renowned for delivering outstanding customer care and unrivalled expertise in diamonds, jewellery and luxury watches, and we’re looking forward to continuing its legacy with the Loupe brand, whilst staying true to the family values and core purpose of enriching lives that Beaverbrooks has upheld for over a century.”

Marking an exciting next chapter for the brand, Loupe has also launched its highly anticipated luxury e-commerce proposition for online purchases. The brand-new online platform provides clients with access to Loupe’s wider portfolio all at the click of a button, where they can discover the stories and details behind the pieces and collections they love. Visitors to the site can peruse Loupe’s thoughtfully curated fine jewellery and diamond collections, as well as Loupe’s most extensive collection of the world’s finest luxury watch brands including Rolex, OMEGA, Breitling, Hublot, Zenith and TUDOR.

Complimentary next day delivery comes as standard on Loupe’s website, as well as the option to order and collect at the Loupe boutique. Clients can also book face-to-face consultations with the specialist Loupe team through the website, where they can view pieces of interest in the boutique. Further to this, there is also useful information available on the online platform, such as aftercare advice, watch and ring size guides and insightful profiles of the Loupe insiders.

Loupe’s Croydon boutique opened its doors on Friday 12 January 2024, along with the launch of its luxury e-commerce proposition.
