Cartwright & Butler (www.cartwrightandbutler.co.uk), the century old English brand dedicated to crafting exceptional sweet and savoury teatime treats, is launching a new product to their much loved biscuit range: Cherry & Almond.

Available online and in stores from June, the biscuits are a carefully curated mix of crumbly biscuit, glace cherry pieces, ground almonds and almond extract, with no artificial flavourings added. The new launch has been six months in the making, with a panel ensuring the highest quality and tastiest recipe had been selected.

Inspired by the nostalgic Bakewell Tart, the new biscuits have been developed to fill a growing consumer demand for classic flavours. In a recent survey conducted by Cartwright & Butler, 70% of customers identified Cherry & Almond as their preferred flavour profile in biscuits. Wider industry insights report that nostalgic, classic flavours are growing in demand with consumers seeking traditional and familiar flavours.[1]

The new Cherry & Almond Biscuits join Cartwright & Butler’s existing range of over 15 best-selling biscuit varieties available in its iconic pastel tins, including Stem Ginger, Pistachio and Strawberry & White Chocolate.

Cartwright & Butler’s Cherry & Almond Biscuits (200g, RRP £12.00) are a delicious new addition to the quintessentially British brand’s range of best-selling luxury biscuits. Available in Cartwright & Butler’s notable pastel tin, makes for the ideal gift or an indulgent treat and perfectly encompasses the nation’s favourite pastime, the Bakewell tart.

Martin Burke, Marketing Director, says “At Cartwright & Butler we’re proud to offer our customers the highest quality products, in flavours and formats that they love. That’s why we’re extremely excited to be launching our new Cherry & Almond Biscuit range, which were chosen as a favourite by the customers themselves. Our products are made to be bring people together and we’re confident this new product will do just that. This launch is part of Cartwright & Butler’s wider plans to grow our international and national sales channels.”

Cartwright & Butler source, pick and hand-pack only the most delicious treats including the butteriest shortbread from Scotland, rich chocolate from Belgium and preserves & chutneys from their own family recipes.

Cherry & Almond Biscuits will join a selection of other pastel tins available at leading stockists; John Lewis, Ocado, Selfridges, Harrods, DUFRY and WH Smith (airside) and online at www.cartwrightandbutler.co.uk.
