Tuk Tuk Club Tuk Tuk Club, an innovative new brand, launches a new concept to the world food category with its premium, chilled stir-in sauces designed to bring modern, plant-based, and fresh world flavours into the home kitchen. Available at Ocado from September 2024, Tuk Tuk Club is poised to disrupt the traditional ambient sauce market and set a new standard for convenient meals and meal kits.

Tuk Tuk Club’s sauces are made from scratch with visible layers of natural ingredients, designed to bring bold, modern-world flavours to kitchens across the UK.  Each variant delivers the convenience of a prepared sauce with the freshness of a homemade meal, using only the finest plant-based ingredients, suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone seeking a premium, natural alternative to traditional ambient sauces. They are gluten and dairy-free, free from preservatives and additives and are the perfect solution for health-conscious, time-pressed consumers who want to cook at home without the hassle.

The debut range features three exciting variants, all created by the Tuk Tuk Club chefs and made in small batches to bring fresh world food flavour to meals:

Spicy Kicking Curry: The spicy paste layer is crafted from a blend of tomato puree, ginger, chillis, and spices and is hand-finished with layers of coriander and fried onions, adding a delightful light texture and aroma to the sauce.

Mild Fragrant Curry: The fragrant paste layer is crafted from a blend of tomato purée, mango purée, ginger, and spices and hand-finished with layers of coriander and fried onions, adding a delightful light texture and aroma to the sauce.

Thai-style Red Curry: The fragrant red layer of paste is made with ginger, roasted peppers and spices and hand-finished with layers of coriander and fried onions, adding a delightful light texture and aroma to the sauce.

Tuk Tuk Club sauces can create quick and delicious meals, from stirring into freshly sautéed vegetables and proteins to using as a flavourful base for curries or noodle dishes. The range is a must-have fridge essential for families, busy professionals, and food lovers, bringing freshness and flavour into everyday meals.

Tuk Tuk Club was founded by a passionate team of food industry experts backed by FMCG veterans, including Gareth Martin, formerly Weetabix and Kimberly-Clark. The brand was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between traditional ambient sauces and the demand for minimally processed, fresh ingredients. Tuk Tuk Club’s founders believe that the world food category is ready for a shake-up, and their sauces are set to lead this next generation of plant-based meal solutions.

Co-founder Gareth Martin said: “We saw a real opportunity to offer consumers something truly different. People seek meal inspiration but don’t want to compromise on quality or freshness. Our sauces deliver just that, with a level of convenience that suits busy lifestyles.”

Cree Felicien-Sringall, buying manager at Ocado Retail, said: “We’re delighted to be launching Tuk Tuk Club on Ocado.com, offering our customers even more choices than before.  Over the past couple of years, we’ve noticed that customers are increasingly looking for freshness, quality and restaurant-standard meals from the comfort of their homes. Our partnership with Tuk Tuk Club offers just that.”

Tuk Tuk Club aims to disrupt the traditional sauce category by offering fresh, world-inspired flavours that are natural, plant-based, and free from unnecessary additives. The team is gearing up for further growth, with plans to expand into major grocery multiples in 2025 and make an impact in the same way as soups, pasta sauces and juices have done.

Tuk Tuk Club’s Spicy Kicking Curry, Mild Fragrant Curry, and Thai-style Red Curry sauces are now available at Ocado and independent retailers. The RRP £4.25 per pot.
