PizzaExpress, the UK’s most iconic pizzeria brand, which is known for its famous pizza and delicious Dough Balls, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest PizzaExpress Pod, located at Swansea Marina’s Tesco Superstore, from tomorrow, Friday 18th April.

To celebrate the opening, on Saturday 10th May, the PizzaExpress Pod will be giving away 100 FREE pizzettas, which offers all you know and love about PizzaExpress’ delicious pizzas but in an ‘on-the-go’ 8″ version, between 12pm and 2pm*. With some of the brand’s most iconic pizzas on offer as part of this giveaway, including the famous American, Margherita, American Hot, Padana and Pollo ad Astra, this is the perfect lunch-time treat.

This is the second PizzaExpress Pod to open, following the successful launch of this concept in Southampton in late 2024, marking a milestone in the brand’s mission of reaching its pizza fans no matter where they are. Primely located outside Tesco’s Superstore at Swansea Marina, the PizzaExpress Pod allows pizza fans the ease to order and collect when on the move, ordering their favourites from an open kitchen and collection window.

A ‘grab and go’ format featuring the same icons fans know and love, from the American Hot to the Padana, the PizzaExpress Swansea Pod will also feature a £9.95 pizza and soft drink lunch offer, the perfect option for a post-grocery shop meal.

Today’s new pod is just another of the brand’s innovative concepts, with it also continuing to expand its retail range, which recently saw the release of three tasty new retail pizzas (the Margherita Speciale, Calabrian ‘Nduja & Hot Honey, and the Hawaiian).

Ready to provide iconic pizzas to fans, the PizzaExpress Swansea Pod territory manager David Firth and its five dedicated team members are excited to show the brand-new Pod.

Firth said: “We are thrilled to be bringing PizzaExpress’ newest Pod to Swansea Marina. Our team is looking forward to serving up delicious pizza in a pod – what’s more, to celebrate our new opening, we’re giving away 100 FREE Pizzettas on Saturday 10th May – all you need to do is turn up and our team will do the rest!”
