Moo FreeMoo Free, the free from and vegan chocolate experts, has refreshed its Easter collection with the launch of four new products. The innovative range has helped the newly B-Corp certified, family-run business gain a new listing in Sainsbury’s and has deepened distribution in Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and Morrisons with the existing Easter range.

The latest NPD to join the free-from chocolate line-up includes Caramel Mini Eggs, a pioneering product in the free-from space, and the Moofreesas Ball with Moofreesas snack pack. Moo Free has also given flavour makeovers to its White Mikey Bunny character and Hammy the Chocolate Orange Hamster character, adding popping candy to tickle the taste buds.

With over a decade of experience, Moo Free’s entire range is dairy, gluten and soya free, while also being suitable for vegans. Each product is made using its award-winning chocolate, sourced from ethical cocoa from Rainforest Alliance certified farmers. As with all Moo Free products, the range doesn’t use any single-use plastic and the packaging can be fully recycled.

Caramel Mini Eggs RRP £2.95 (88g) (available from www.moofreewholesale.co.uk, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda)

Shoppers who love Moo Free’s “milk” Chocolate Mini Eggs will want the brand-new Caramel Mini Eggs with its gooey, silky centre. Made using Rainforest Alliance cocoa, the new Caramel editions are the perfect twist on a popular staple for those not usually able to have chocolate due to allergies or lifestyle choices.

Moofreesas Ball with Moofreesas Bag RRP £3.95 (100g) (available from www.moofreewholesale.co.uk)

Moo Free’s brand new Moofreesas Ball takes the crispy gluten free malt of the ever-popular Moofreesas and combines it with Moo Free’s “milk” chocolate for a delicious alternative to an Easter, or just an extra, treat this year. Even better, this crunchy chocolate ball comes with a bag of classic Moofreesas for double the deliciousness.

White Mikey Bunny RRP £3.95 (80g) (available from www.moofreewholesale.co.uk and Sainsbury’s)

Moo Free is bringing back its popular White Mikey Bunny with a fun and delicious addition of popping candy and subtle lemon flavour. Using Moo Free’s award-winning creamy white chocolate, Mikey is also, of course, free from dairy, gluten, soya and palm oil, as well as being suitable for vegans.

Hammy the Chocolate Orange Hamster RRP £3.95 (80g) (available from www.moofreewholesale.co.uk and Tesco)

The well-known Hammy the Hamster “milk” chocolate character returns with a taste bud tingling twist… popping candy. The smooth “milk” chocolate, orange fizz popping candy combination makes for an egg-citing and tasty experience, sure to go down a treat with fans of the original Hammy the Hamster.

Andrea Jessop, Moo Free CEO, comments: “These listings are a recognition of the hard work that goes into producing quality products that meet our shoppers needs. The free-from market has seen significant growth in the last fifteen years and is now a recognised core grocery category with Moo Free at the helm for the majority of that time.

“Easter is a time where, if you suffer with allergies or follow a vegan diet, you can feel incredibly left out. We want to break the stigma in the free-from space and create unique and innovative products that everyone can enjoy without compromising on taste or product quality. We have sourced the highest quality cocoa to create our chocolate and crafted a range of exciting and affordable products that will bring joy to everyone’s celebrations.”

With the four new products, Moo Free’s Easter offering for 2023 presents a total of 10 free-from and vegan options:

  • NEW Moofreesas Ball with Moofreesas Bag RRP £3.95
