THG Fulfil implements ultra-compact warehouse automation system

Pio’s P100 offers THG Fulfil customers 99.7% system uptime and 99.9% pick accuracy

THG FulfilTHG Fulfil, the world-class fulfilment and courier management solution from THG Ingenuity, today announces the implementation of the Pio P100, an ultra-compact warehouse automation system created by Autostore, in its Manchester facility.

The P100, part of Pio’s product line-up, is modular and has the unique ability to scale as throughput increases, further enhancing THG Fulfil’s operations – which currently manages up to one million outbounds daily – by offering an easy point of entry for both growing and established brands.

THG Fulfil is not only implementing P100 in its Manchester facility but is also a distribution and build partner for both Pio and Autostore, allowing brands interested in implementing their own automation solutions to benefit from a live demonstration of its capabilities. From enterprise-grade systems to agile, plug and play Pio solutions, THG Fulfil empowers brands of all sizes to automate faster, scale smarter and boost fulfilment performance – available on a capex light RaaS model.

Despite its compact size, the P100 delivers industry-leading performance whilst reducing costs and increasing order accuracy. With a total throughput of 7,200 units per day, the P100 features 3 robots and 1,400 bins in less than 500 sq.ft (approximately three car parking spaces). It promises reliable and continuous operations with 99.7% system uptime and 99.9% pick accuracy.

The e-commerce landscape is rapidly evolving: global retail e-commerce sales are estimated to exceed US$4.3 trillion in 2025*. Consumers expect fast and flexible delivery, accurate order fulfilment, and seamless service, but historically, the cost meant that only large companies with available capex could afford to implement automation.
