easyDelivery, easyKiosk and easyGrocery partner with Gophr to bring faster delivery to UK retailers

Same-day delivery specialist Gophr has partnered with easyDelivery, easyKiosk and easyGrocery to expand delivery options for retailers and customers across the UK.

The partnership connects Gophr’s courier network with three retail platforms developed and operated by Multi Channel Creative Ltd, under license from the easy® family of brands founded by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder of easyJet.

The three brands each play a complementary role:

  • easyDelivery: An on-demand shopping and local delivery marketplace connecting customers with nearby retailers across multiple sectors, alongside a separate domestic and international parcel comparison service.
  • easyKiosk: A commerce platform bringing together EPOS, self-service ordering, payments, stock management, customer loyalty and delivery management.
  • easyGrocery: A dedicated grocery and convenience shopping marketplace connecting shoppers with local stores, with services rolling out across UK locations.

Gophr’s network will give retailers access to a range of courier and vehicle options, from small baskets to larger shipments. This flexibility and choice means businesses selling everything from groceries, homeware and pharmacy to hardware, electrical appliances and furniture will have access to the service.

Customers can discover products from participating local retailers, place orders online and have eligible purchases collected and delivered in as little as 30–60 minutes, depending on location, courier availability and order requirements. Alongside rapid local delivery, retailers can access suitable same-day options to serve customers beyond their immediate neighbourhoods.

For retailers, easyDelivery offers 0% sales commission and no monthly subscription fee. A £2 plus VAT platform fee applies per order, with payment processing and delivery charges calculated separately.

Graham Smith, commercial director at Gophr, said: “Delivery capabilities are fast becoming a key selling point for retailers across the UK, no matter their size. It’s not just enough to offer delivery, it needs to be fast, utterly reliable, easily booked and same day.

“The easyDelivery team understands the importance of delivery fulfilment and is building an ecosystem of retail solutions that ensure people get the items they need exactly when they need them. Our technology and courier network will help make that a reality.”

Amit Sagu, CEO of easyDelivery, commented: “Partnering with Gophr is another important milestone in the rollout of our easy ecosystem.

“We’ve built easyDelivery to bring the convenience of on-demand shopping to the whole high street, not just food and groceries. Whether it’s an independent florist, a pharmacy, a hardware shop or a national retailer, we want customers to be able to discover products locally and have them delivered quickly.

“Gophr brings an established courier network and the ability to handle everything from small purchases to much larger deliveries.

“Combined with easyKiosk, we’re giving businesses the tools to sell online, manage orders, take payments and arrange delivery without having to develop expensive infrastructure of their own.“Our ambition is simple: make modern retail technology and fast delivery accessible to every business, regardless of size.”

Spencer Boylan, CMO of easyDelivery added: “For too long, independent retailers have been at a disadvantage compared with major online platforms when it comes to technology, customer reach and delivery capabilities.

“We’re changing that by bringing together the tools merchants need to compete, from EPOS and payments to digital marketing, online marketplaces and on-demand fulfilment.

“Our approach is designed to give a single-store operator access to capabilities that have traditionally required significant investment, while also supporting national and enterprise retailers.

“Working with Gophr strengthens that proposition and supports our wider ambition to champion the high street, help merchants reach new customers and create more opportunities for local businesses to grow.”

The partnership forms part of the continued commercial rollout of the easyDelivery, easyKiosk and easyGrocery platforms, with further merchant onboarding and service expansion planned across the UK.
