Pet food brand Peamutt Butter is jumping on the ‘humanising dogfood trend’ as it expands its top-selling range with new easy-to-squeeze ‘Peamutt Squeezy’.

An affordable treat, Peamutt Squeezy will hit Pets at Home shelves across the UK exclusively from June 23rd, £2.49.

Designed as a tasty snack, Peamutt Squeezy is made from 100% peanuts and contains heart-healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin and vitamin E. The product is also palm oil free.

Joining the Peamutt Butter range, easy, peasy Squeezy is designed to be easier to use on dog toys and lick mats – easily applied to the surfaces without using a knife or spoon.

This Spring the ‘humanising pet food’ trend has been flooding online platforms, with dog owners creating aesthetically pleasing meals for man’s best friend.

Duerr & Son’s believe Peamutt Squeezy offers an opportunity to bake or create artistic treats for your dog – its new mess-free dispense allows enough control to write your pet’s name or decorate dog-friendly bakes.

Sally Addenbrook, marketing manager for Peamutt Butter said: “We have seen an increasing trend in dog owners creating Instagram-able food experiences and snacks for their dogs – being playful with lick mats and making arty treats to ‘surprise and delight’.

“Peamutt Squeezy is a simple way to be playful with your dog’s treat staple, it’s a move away from generic snacking and allows dog-parents to craft, bake and create for their pets in the easiest way possible. Ultimately having fun with their dogs at snack time.”

This squeezable version of Peamutt Butter is also ideal for shoppers looking for a convenient on-the-go treat for agility or puppy training classes.

Peamutt Squeezy will officially launch at DogFest 2025 and will be supported by a social media, marketing and PR campaign. The new product be available in Pets at Home, 320g, RRP: £2.49.

Sally Addenbrook added: “Maximising dog influencers and user generated content across our social media, we hope to really bring to life how versatile and fun Squeezy can be and provide a foodie experience for their dog.”

Famed nationwide for its household marmalades, F. Duerr’s & Sons is the biggest producer of peanut butter in the UK and is home to the UK’s number one peanut butter for dogs, Peamutt Butter.

Growing year-on-year, the value of the Peamutt brand last year was £2.5m.

Squeezy Peamutt joins Peamutt balls – an on-the-go, training treat, also available for the first time in Pets at Home from the end of the month. RRP: £2.49
