BEAR taps into demand for fun shapes in kids’ fruit snacking with Juicy New Fruit Bites

BEARBEAR, the number one brand in Kids Fruit Snacking, is bringing a high fibre boost to the category with the launch of BEAR Fruit Bites. Specifically designed for older cubs, the new range is set to help retailers unlock incremental sales opportunities by appealing to evolving taste buds, keeping BEAR front of mind (and in baskets) as kids grow.

As texture and format become just as important as taste in Kids’ Fruit Snacking, unique, fun-shaped snacks are playing an even bigger role in capturing attention on shelves. BEAR is giving kids exactly what they are looking for with its most playful innovation yet. Made with real fruit, the range is packed with juicy, embossed shapes and puzzles on every pack – bringing more fun to snack time and helping parents serve up a healthier option for their little ones.

Available in Berry and Tropical flavours, each pack provides one of kids’ five-a-day with no added sugar. BEAR Fruit Bites are also high in fibre, a timely benefit, with Google Trends data showing a +30% rise in searches for ‘dietary fibre’ year-on-year. This makes them the perfect pick for lunchboxes, after-school treats, or fuelling big adventures. It’s a snack parents can genuinely feel good about, and little cubs will love getting their paws on.

Jo Agnew, marketing director at Lotus Bakeries, Natural Foods UK, says: “Children’s taste buds are constantly changing, and finding a snack they love just as much as you enjoy giving to them can be a real challenge. As a parent, I know the daily balancing act between nutrition and taste, but ensuring kids have a healthy, balanced diet is so important. That’s where BEAR comes in.

“Made from 100% fruit and high in fibre, BEAR Fruit Bites are our juiciest range yet. With thick, juicy shapes, they’re the perfect snack to make fruit fun – which is key in helping to encourage healthier snacking habits in children.

“The launch of our new BEAR Fruit Bites will mean that families have access to a range of fruit snacking products to suit all ages, and we know that kids will love them. It’s a win for families and retailers alike, keeping little paws reaching for BEAR as they grow.”

To support the launch, BEAR is rolling out a fully integrated marketing campaign, spanning influencer partnerships, digital advertising, retailer media, and stand-out in-store activations, ensuring BEAR Fruit Bites drive impact both online and in-aisle.

BEAR Fruit Bites Berry and Tropical (5 x 20g) are available in Waitrose, Ocado and Sainsbury’s, RRP £2.85. BEAR Fruit Bites Berry and Tropical will also rollout in Tesco from 3rd September.
