Maison Ferrand UK to distribute ADRIATICO Amaretto and ADRIATICO Zero

Maison Ferrand UKMaison Ferrand UK has announced the addition of ADRIATICO Amaretto to its premium distribution portfolio, alongside the launch of ADRIATICO Zero, the first non-alcoholic expression from the award-winning Italian liqueur producer.

Founded in 2019 by Jean-Robert Bellanger and Thomas Benoit, Bellaventura brings a new approach to Italian Liqueurs, from amaretto to limencello. ADRIATICO is redefining the amaretto category with a new generation of liqueurs crafted exclusively with hand-picked Filippo Cea almonds from Puglia, Italy. The range includes Roasted, Bianco, and the newly released Zero. Containing 50% less sugar than traditional amaretto liqueurs, each expression is made with the best ingredients and designed to be enjoyed neat, as an aperitif, or in creative cocktails.

‘We’re delighted to welcome Adriatico, an outstanding premium amaretto, to join our portfolio,” said Darryl Cripps, Head of Sales, Maison Ferrand UK. “The brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with our values, and we can’t wait for bartenders to discover its depth, character, and versatility behind the bar’.

This new addition further strengthens the Maison Ferrand UK portfolio, which was fully established last year following the acquisition of Identity Drinks. It underscores the company’s commitment to the UK market and its strategy of building a premium portfolio that reflects Maison Ferrand’s values of quality, authenticity, and innovation.

Jean-Robert Bellanger & Thomas Benoit, Co-founders of Bellaventura stated,  ‘We are truly delighted to start a new distribution journey of our brands, Amaretto ADRIATICO and Limoncello Mamma Mia, in the UK with the Maison Ferrand UK team. The Maison Ferrand UK team shares a clear and field-driven vision, already working with top key accounts and an exceptional portfolio of brands. We are entering this new chapter for our premium Italian liqueur brands in the UK market with great confidence and enthusiasm.’

ADRIATICO Zero offers the same silky texture and rich almond flavour as traditional amaretto, but with less than 0.5% ABV, half the sugar, and certifications for vegan and gluten-free. Infused with roasted almonds, almond distillate, and a touch of Adriatic sea salt, it’s designed to be savoured neat, in cocktails, or even incorporated into desserts like tiramisu.

ADRIATICO Zero is already winning praise from leading voices in hospitality. Marica Tonucci, Operational Beverage Manager at Big Mamma Group, commented: ‘For me, this is one of the best amaretto zero I’ve ever tried. It’s got body, it’s not overly sweet or heavy like most, and that little pinch of salt is the magic touch that opens up the flavour. Lately we’ve also been playing with an espresso martini that leans lighter on the alcohol. We use ADRIATICO to bring in body and depth, so you still get that rich mouthfeel without it hitting too heavy.’

All the ADRIATICO products are bottled at 70cl with a suggested price of £29.95 for Amaretto Roasted (28%), £29.95 for Amaretto Bianco (16%) and £23.65 for Amaretto Zero (0%).
