The Fruit FactoryChildren’s snacking brand, The Fruit Factory, is expanding its best-selling Twists and Strings ranges with two new flavour innovations: Tropical Fruit Twists and Sour Apple Fruit Strings. The Tropical Fruit Twists, launched in Tesco and Morrisons in September 2025, feature a vibrant blend of watermelon, pineapple, mango and passionfruit in a five-pack format (90g). Made with real fruit juice, free from artificial colours or preservatives, and containing just 64 kcal per pack, the product offers a fun, lunchbox-friendly snack designed for children to enjoy.

The Sour Apple Fruit Strings launched in Tesco and Morrisons in October 2025, bring a tangy new twist to the top-performing Strings range. Also made with real fruit juice and free from artificial colours or preservatives, the 100g five-pack format contains 71 kcal per pack and features refreshed packaging to broaden appeal beyond the school lunchbox. Both launches build on The Fruit Factory’s strong market presence, with nearly 650,000 shoppers purchasing the brand in the past year and 70% returning for more.

The launches come at a time of rising demand for fruit-based snacks, with 67% of children choosing fruit over traditional crisps or sweets. Tropical and sour flavours are especially popular, with 85% of parents likely to buy a tropical-flavoured snack and 80% a sour-flavoured option for their children. The Fruit Factory continues to innovate with child-friendly formats that combine nutritional value with convenience and fun.
