Family-owned British flour brand Wessex Mill has secured a nine-strong listing at Ocado, bringing its award-winning range to the online supermarket.
Available in 1.5kg packs, the range includes Six Seed Bread Flour, Cobber Bread Flour, Strong White Bread Flour, Mixed Grain Bread Flour, French Bread Flour and Wholemeal Bread Flour, alongside Pasta & Pizza Flour, Plain White Flour and Self Raising Flour. The listing offers shoppers a broad choice of specialist and everyday flours, catering to a variety of home baking needs.
Owned by Michael and Clare Marriage, founders of Doves Farm Foods, Wessex Mill has a milling heritage spanning more than 125 years. Today, its flours are milled in the North Wessex Downs near Hungerford, where the business works closely with local farmers to source quality wheat from within 50 miles of the mill for its core range.
Combining generations of milling expertise with commitment to local sourcing, Wessex Mill slowly mills its wheat to produce high quality flour, with details of where the grain was grown printed on pack, giving shoppers greater visibility of the farms behind their flour.
