LEON returns to its roots for January

In a mission to rebuild LEON into the Earth’s favourite Naturally Fast Food, LEON’s January specials are about a return to tasty, seasonal cooking made from carefully sourced natural ingredients.

The biggest changes are coming in Spring, but January wasn’t going to pass without making some positive moves. Old favourites, improved. Thoughtful innovation, just getting started.

The Salmon Smörgås-Box is a breakfast newcomer featuring PGI-status London Cure Smoked Salmon – the only smoked salmon in the world with protected designation. Smoked in East London by the world’s oldest smoked salmon producer using whole oak logs for a purer, more sustainable smoke, this LEON take on a Scandinavian classic is served with two poached eggs, smashed avocado, and fresh spinach, and finished with extra virgin olive oil and seven-seed mix. A classy start to your day, full of rich omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) to support heart and brain health, protein and Vitamins B12 & D.

Banana & Turmeric Honey Granola is designed with wellbeing in mind. This anti-inflammatory gluten-free pot layers turmeric, honey, sliced banana, nutty granola, and probiotic yoghurt and is finished with bee pollen. Thoughtful ingredients, chosen for flavour and function. LEON favourite, Lentil Masala, returns refreshed, refined, and given a chef’s touch. A rich vegan lentil and coconut curry, gently spiced with cumin, ginger, and mustard seeds and served with nutritious brown rice. Comforting, nourishing, and deeply satisfying. The rebirth of a classic. From now until April, LEON will be welcoming back much-loved favourites, reworked, refined and better than ever, as the journey begins to make LEON what it once was, and what it should always be.

And for a touch of spring optimism in the midst of winter, Morello Cherry Iced Matcha Latte, is made with ceremonial-grade matcha, paired with vibrant fresh fruit Morello cherry coulis and your milk of choice (oat, coconut, soy or dairy), served over ice. High-quality ingredients are handled with care, for a cleaner, brighter flavour.

Following the return of founder John Vincent, LEON will enter a new era this April. More than a menu makeover, this is a full-scale rebirth – reconnecting with the food that made LEON famous while introducing a new wave of bold, creative dishes. A celebration of past classics, reimagined for today, and a renewed vision for naturally fast food.

The January Menu launches January 14th at all LEON Restaurants.

All dishes will be available for eat-in, takeaway, click & collect and delivery.
