Ahead of the 19th of January, the so-called gloomiest day of the year, Eden Shopping Centre has asked shoppers what would really help to boost their mood. When asked, shoppers have revealed that it is the simplest things that lift their spirits, all available at Eden Shopping Centre under one roof.
Local shoppers in High Wycombe have revealed that a cup of good coffee, tasty food and quality time with loved ones are the things that really make them smile. Local Mum Lisa Gibb who was enjoying a coffee at Black Sheep Coffee in Eden Shopping Centre, said ‘’honestly, the chance to have a proper catch-up with a friend over a cappuccino while the kids are at school is my ideal morning. A little ‘me time’ with my favourite hot drink really cheers me up.’’
Local student James Atkinson who was at lunch with his girlfriend shared: ‘’for us nothing beats a Nando’s at Eden whenever we’re doing some shopping! What better way to brighten up any day!’’
The chance to connect with others and spend quality time together was also revealed as one of the top ways Eden shoppers boost their mood. Young professional Alexa Matthews said ‘’I love watching a feel-good rom com after work with a friend at Eden’s Cineworld, it really helps me unwind.’’
Local resident Karen Baker said taking the time to connect meet others in the community is the key to her happiness saying ‘’there’s always great events happening at Eden where you can connect with others. I made so many friends in the local area thanks to Eden’s Silver Series events they ran last Autumn which were fun and social. As someone arty, something like a craft session at Eden where I could chat with others would be the perfect way to make me smile.’’
From Eden’s diverse range of shops, cafes, restaurants and welcoming facilities, Eden is designed to be so much more than a place to shop. Providing the perfect feel-good destination for a ‘pick me up’ on Blue Monday and beyond, there’s something to put a smile on everyone’s face.
