UNiDAYS, the world-leading student verification platform, has announced that Jessica Hewitt, global head of beauty & wellness, has been appointed to the British Beauty Council in an advisory role.
Jessica will join the Council as Education and Talent Pillar President, representing UNiDAYS alongside senior leaders from across the beauty and personal care industry. The appointment recognises Jessica’s continued contribution to the sector, alongside her leadership at UNiDAYS as global head of beauty & wellness.
At UNiDAYS, Jessica is responsible for leading the strategy for one of the platform’s largest and fastest-growing categories, and her expertise spans beauty retail, strategic partnerships, and market strategy.
Jessica’s formal appointment follows the impact of her work last year with the British Beauty Council on the Student Beauty Shadow Board – a two-way pioneering mentorship and grant initiative created to support and spotlight the next generation of beauty industry leaders.
Commenting on her appointment, Jessica Hewitt, global head of beauty & wellness at UNiDAYS, said: “I am incredibly honoured to step into the role of Pillar President for Education & Talent at the British Beauty Council. Having collaborated with the Council on the Shadow Board and the UNiDAYS ‘Careers in the Beauty Industry’ campaign, I have seen the transformative power of providing young talent with a seat at the table. Now, I’m excited to scale that impact, supporting the Council’s 2026 strategy to educate, promote and develop professional careers within the industry.”
Millie Kendall OBE, the British Beauty Council CEO, says: “Over the last six years, we have worked hard to solidify the foundations of the Council. Now we are entering an exciting period of growth and these new appointments will only serve to strengthen our work for the industry.”
