Sierra Tequila launches first on-pack promotion in UK off-trade

Sierra Tequila, the UK’s best-selling tequila brand, is delighted to announce the launch of a new on-pack promotion with retail partner Tesco. Featured on over 60,000 bottles of 50cl Sierra Tequila Blanco and Reposado, the promotional neck tags give shoppers the chance to win a holiday for two to Cancún, Mexico, along with £500 spending money.

Running from 27th April to 22nd June 2026, the promotion will also include 45 runners-up prizes of £100 Tesco eGift cards, available to be won with the purchase of either a 50cl bottle of Sierra Tequila Blanco or Sierra Tequila Reposado. A further five remaining eGift cards will be made available for consumers to win in a wrap-up draw from 23rd June to the 31st July 2026.

Entry to the competition is via a QR code printed on the bottle neck tag or via visiting a dedicated website,  sierramexico.co.uk, where consumers will be invited to enter their details and their unique code.

This reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting retail partners and boost visibility and trial with shoppers. During the activation a promotional RRP of £14 for Sierra Tequila Blanco 50cl will be running from 22nd June to 19th July.

Rob Curteis, managing director of UK Sierra distributor, The Drinks Company, says: “Sierra Tequila is for unforgettable moments, it’s the ultimate party brand and we wanted to bring this to life on shelf. We’re delighted to partner with Tesco to offer consumers the chance to experience Mexico’s No.1 party destination.”

Sierra Tequila is the UK’s best-selling tequila brand and is rooted in Mexican tradition and famous for its iconic sombrero-topped bottles and bold agave flavour.  The tequila is produced by the fourth generation family-owned Destileriás Sierra Unidas in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and production is overseen by Master Tequila Distiller Graciela Gonzalez. Her team uses traditional distillation methods, each bottle reflecting generations of expertise and a vibrant, authentic spirit. With its smooth finish and lively character, Sierra Tequila brings character and joy to every occasion.
