British B Corp-certified underwear and sleepwear brand Nudea has released its 2026 Sustainability Report, detailing key progress made throughout 2025 and setting out future goals across materials, circularity, carbon reduction and responsible sourcing.
Highlights from the report include Nudea’s continued commitment to transitioning to 100% natural or recycled fabrics across all products by 2026, with current material use now comprising 62% natural fibres, 29% recycled synthetics and 8% virgin synthetic (deadstock). Organic cotton now accounts for 58% of 2025 production.
The business also reports that 100% of customer-facing packaging is now made from recycled or natural materials, with all customer orders shipped in fully recyclable uncoated cardboard. Products are delivered through the supply chain in recycled or compostable polybags.
In circularity, Nudea’s ongoing TerraCycle partnership recycled 2,630 bras in 2025, equivalent to 51% of annual bra sales, while the programme was expanded to include sleepwear and underwear.
The brand also continues to invest in product longevity and lower-impact consumption. More than 25,000 wash bags have now been distributed since launch, helping customers extend garment lifespan through improved aftercare. Nudea also relaunched its Fit Tape sizing tool in 2025 to help reduce size-related returns and improve first-time fit accuracy.
Following B Corp recertification in 2025, Nudea also introduced updated supplier policies including a revised Supplier Workplace Code of Conduct, Responsible Sourcing Policy, Environmental & Climate Policy, and Supply Chain Data Reporting processes.
Founder Priya Downes comments: “We’re incredibly proud of the progress outlined in this year’s report and of the meaningful steps we’ve taken to strengthen our sustainability strategy across the business. As
expectations around transparency and accountability continue to evolve, we see this as an opportunity to lead with integrity, deepen our impact and build an even more responsible business for the future.”
Future targets include increasing renewable energy use across factories from 5% to 20%, recycling 1,000 pieces of sleepwear in 2026, increasing bra recycling participation to 60% of annual bra sales, and producing 10% of collections in the UK by 2028.
