Ocado Retail offers bigger and better rewards with expanded Smart Pass benefits scheme

Ocado Retail today announces the launch of its new rewards programme for Smart Pass Members, Smart Pass Rewards.

As part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to loyal shoppers, the rewards programme will offer significant discounts off sought after products, experiences and services, with the rewards curated to appeal to fun-seeking families, food fanatics and savvy shoppers looking to save money on the brands they love.

As a Smart Pass member, customers can gain access to exclusive offers from brands across categories such as days out and experiences, technology, memberships and clothing. Customers can choose as many offers as they like from a selection of 15 featured deals that are on offer at any one time.

Offers going live in the first month of Smart Pass Rewards include exciting featured deals with:

  • Good Food, the UK’s top-tier food magazine, with 50+ trusted recipes in every issue. Smart Pass customers can claim three months free on an annual subscription.
  • Royal Horticulture Society, where members can enjoy unlimited free days out to RHS Gardens, priority access to events and exclusive reduced rate tickets to RHS Flower Shows. Smart Pass customers can claim a third off the membership price.
  • Kids Pass, helping members unlock 1,000+ discounts across theme parks, zoos, cinemas, aquariums, dining, holidays and more. Smart Pass customers can claim 40 days of membership for just £1.

The enhanced benefits package builds on the success of Ocado Retail’s existing Smart Pass programme, adding more perks for customers to enjoy, on top of those already included. This currently includes zero delivery charges, exclusive sales, and priority access to Christmas delivery slots.

Dan Elton, Chief Customer Officer at Ocado Retail said: “At Ocado Retail, the customer is truly at the heart of everything we do. We know shoppers are keenly focused on finding the best value. The expanded Smart Pass Rewards program has been carefully designed to deliver exactly that, offering our members the ideal way to secure fantastic deals on a wide range of experiences and brands that we know they’ll love.”

The new rewards are available through the Ocado.com website, powered by the retailer’s partnership with e-commerce platform Tyviso.

The Ocado Smart Pass scheme is a paid membership programme that gives customers free delivery, helping them save up to £157 a year* in addition to other benefits.

Membership fees start from £9.99 a month for an Anytime Pass, with access to free delivery 7 days a week, and £4.99 a month for a Midweek Pass, offering delivery on weekdays between Tuesday and Thursday. Both memberships give customers access to the full range of Smart Pass Rewards.
