Landsec marks UK debut of Lefties at Liverpool ONE

Landsec owner of one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure portfolios has welcomed the first Lefties store in the UK at Liverpool ONE, marking the international fashion brand’s debut in the UK market.

Owned by parent group Inditex, Lefties has opened a new flagship store on South John Street, spanning over 27,000 sq ft across two floors, stocking women’s, men’s, teen, kids, baby, newborn, home, accessories and footwear collections.

Lefties’ arrival builds on Landsec’s long standing relationship with Inditex and the continued success of its brands including Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear and Stradivarius at the destination.

The new flagship will also feature some of the brand’s latest retail technology, already introduced at recent European openings, including robotic hanger sorters and radio-frequency identification self-checkouts, removing the need to scan each item separately.

Lefties’ UK debut builds on Liverpool ONE’s track record of attracting flagship and UK-first concepts, with recent arrivals including Salomon, ARNE and Montirex. Welcoming 33 million visitors each year, the destination offers fast-growing brands access to a diverse audience of local shoppers, students, domestic visitors and international tourists.

Pablo Sueiras, Head of Retail & Hospitality Leasing at Landsec, said: “Lefties making its UK debut at Liverpool ONE is a significant milestone for the destination and highlights its continued appeal to retailers looking to establish themselves in the UK market.

“Lefties’ arrival builds on our long-standing relationship with Inditex and the success of its existing brands at Liverpool ONE. It also reflects the confidence global retailers have in the destination’s ability to deliver the scale, visibility and highly engaged customer base needed to support long-term growth.”

Lefties is a global accessible fashion retailer, inclusive of all audiences and ages by providing a complete fashion, home and lifestyle proposal. The brand has evolved over more than two decades and forms part of the Inditex Group, one of the world’s leading fashion retail groups. With the addition of the UK, Lefties is present in 20 markets globally with 225 stores.
