MONIN has expands grocery range with launch of new 25cl syrups into Tesco

MONIN MONIN has expanded its grocery range with the launch of two new 25cl syrups into Tesco: Maple Pecan Pie and Toasted Marshmallow. Available from Monday 2nd November, Maple Pecan Pie will be listed in 677 stores while Toasted Marshmallow will be listed in 552 stores.

Priced alongside the rest of the range at £3.85 (pricing at Tesco’s discretion), the new additions tap into growing consumer demand for seasonal, indulgent drinks at home. Mintel’s 2026 UK seasonal food & drink research found that 62% of buyers choose seasonal products that remind them of their childhood, rising to 76% among 25-44 year olds.

The two flavours are already available across UK bars and cafés and form part of the ‘Cosy Comforts’ trend identified in MONIN’s latest trends predictions. Their move into grocery comes as 58% of UK consumers have tried to recreate their favourite coffee-shop beverage at home, with seasonal at-home coffee content also gaining traction across social media.

Maple Pecan Pie combines maple sweetness with toasted pecan notes and is designed for use across coffees, cocktails and hot chocolates. Meanwhile, Toasted Marshmallow, takes inspiration from the flavours of a classic s’more and can be used across hot and iced chocolates, lattes, mochas, frappés and cocktails. Both syrups use natural flavourings and colourings and are allergen-free and vegan-friendly.

Commenting on the launch, Jamie Carey, Head of Marketing, MONIN, said: “We’re seeing consumers become increasingly adventurous with the drinks they create at home, particularly as coffee-shop trends continue to influence what people are looking for on shelves.

“Maple Pecan Pie and Toasted Marshmallow have already proved popular across the UK on-trade, and their launch into Tesco gives shoppers an easy way to recreate those more indulgent, seasonal serves at home. With nostalgia also playing an important role in consumers’ flavour choices, we see a real opportunity for both flavours as we head into autumn and winter.”

Maple Pecan Pie and Toasted Marshmallow are available from November in select Tesco stores nationwide alongside the existing 25cl syrups available: MONIN Caramel syrup, MONIN Vanilla syrup and MONIN No Added Sugar Salted Caramel syrup.
