AmazonAmazon is continuing to expand its UK grocery offering through a national rollout of its partnership with Gopuff. Following an initial launch in Birmingham and Salford in May, Gopuff will now offer thousands of grocery products including alcohol and snacks, which will be delivered to Amazon customers directly by Gopuff in under 60 minutes, and as fast as 15 minutes.

Gopuff on Amazon offers eligible customers three key benefits:

  • A full grocery shop, delivered in minutes: Fresh food, cleaning supplies, baby essentials, snacks, alcohol—whatever customers need, whenever they need it.
  • Lightning speed: All orders are prepared within Gopuff’s micro-fulfillment centres, which are strategically located near customers, then brought to customers’ doors directly by Gopuff delivery partners. Whether it’s your weekly grocery shop, ingredients and wine for a dinner party, or family movie night essentials, it’s just a few clicks away, delivered in minutes, and available 24/7 in most locations.
  • Competitive pricing: Thanks to Gopuff’s unique, vertically integrated model, customers benefit from great value across thousands of products. Gopuff is currently offering 50 essential grocery products price-matched to Aldi and for the launch, customers can take advantage of deals including up to 50% off ice creams, 3 for 2 on select fruit and veg, and 3 for £12 on meat and fish.

Russell Jones, Director of Grocery Partnerships at Amazon, said: “We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered. Partnering with Gopuff and other grocery partners is an important way of offering Amazon customers their favourite stores and brands, ordered via our website. The new launch with Gopuff brings our customers access to a convenient and affordable way to access their everyday groceries.”

Alberto Menolascina, Gopuff’s SVP of UK and new business, said: “At Gopuff, we’ve spent the past 12 years scaling a nationwide delivery and fulfillment network to establish ourselves as the global leader in instant commerce. Now, we’re delighted to leverage our unique model to help millions of Amazon customers across the UK access thousands of affordable groceries in as fast as 15 minutes.”

Gopuff joins other leading grocery retailers available on Amazon.co.uk – Morrisons, Iceland, and Co-op – to provide choice for Amazon customers looking for grocery items. Amazon first collaborated with third-party grocery retailers in 2015 when it launched its partnership with Morrisons in the UK. Today, Amazon has partnerships with grocery retailers around the globe including; Morrisons, Iceland and Co-op in the U.K.; Tegut, Dia, Knuspr, Cortilia, and Monoprix in Europe; Save Mart, Weis Market, Bristol Farms and Metropolitan Market in the U.S.; Watson’s and Little Farms in Singapore; LIFE, Valor, Arcs, Marukyo and Seijo in Japan; Lulu Group in Dubai and Jüsto in Mexico.

Gopuff on Amazon is now available in the following towns and cities across the UK: Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chessington, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Salford, Sheffield, and Swansea.

Gopuff on Amazon is available at Amazon.co.uk/gopuff and via the Amazon app. Customers can visit Amazon.co.uk/grocery and enter their postcode to see the grocery delivery options available in their area which include Amazon Fresh, Co-op on Amazon, Morrisons on Amazon, Iceland on Amazon, and now Gopuff on Amazon.
