Australian wine maker, Andrew Peace, has teamed with England cricket legend turned grill school owner, Matthew Hoggard MBE, to fuel a pipeline of content, PR, digital advertising and social media. The campaign supports its retail listings across Co-op, Morrisons and – new for 2024 – Tesco.
Spearheaded by Kingsland Drinks, the integrated campaign forms part of a wider, six-figure investment for 2024/5 focused on Andrew Peace Wine’s award winning and proven quality credentials, affordability and stamp of approval from the Good Housekeeping Institute.
The campaign uses the strapline ‘award winning wine, whatever the weather’ and kicked off with a press and influencer event hosted at Hoggy’s Grill School in Rutland – linking to a national moment of culture and coming together; the cricket.
Pete Fairclough, senior brand manager at Kingsland Drinks, says “We’re thrilled that Matthew Hoggard has come on board to engage our core customer across Andrew Peace’s retail footprint. The campaign marks an important moment in the brand’s growth as we work to clearly communicate the value the brand can offer retailers and shoppers.
“As we step into Autumn and as two great cultures, England and Australia, battle it out on the cricket ground, it’s a fitting time to inspire consumers to shake off the idea that grill cooking is confined to summer and try their hand at easy, accessible food and wine pairings.”
