Artisan Coffee Co., launches coffee in collaboration with Olympian champion, Sir Chris Hoy

Artisan Coffee Co., is pleased to announce the launch of a new, bespoke coffee character, The Hoy No.6, developed with the legendary six-time Olympian champion, Sir Chris Hoy.

After discovering speciality coffee during his Olympic training in Melbourne, Sir Chris Hoy’s world changed forever. Looking for ways to bring his passion for coffee to life, Hoy joined forces with Artisan Coffee Co., as a brand ambassador and quickly became involved in the coffee-making process himself to create his own exclusive blend, The Hoy No. 6.

A partnership years in the making, undertaking extensive research and development with co-founder Ashley Palmer-Watts, The Hoy No. 6 is a coffee that delivers everything Hoy loves, and that’s part of his everyday life.

The Hoy No.6 expertly combines three speciality Arabica coffee beans from Sidamo in Ethiopia, Brazil, and El Salvador, with every bean playing a part in creating the blend’s distinct flavour. The Brazilian beans provide a solid structure, the El Salvador beans offer milky chocolate and toffee apple-like sweetness, and the Sidamo beans bring gentle acidity and fragrant fruit notes.

A complementary addition to Artisan’s award-winning range of seven unique coffee characters, this limited-edition blend is crafted to deliver a rich and syrupy cup that is elegant and expressive on the palate. The Hoy No. 6 is delicious in all forms but exceptional as a silky flat white – inspired by Sir Chris Hoy’s favourite coffee.

The blend is a homage to Sir Chris Hoy’s remarkable sporting achievements, as shown beautifully on the packaging and through the name, paying tribute to the six Olympic gold medals earned by the cycling champion. The Hoy No. 6. is also a perfect way to celebrate Team GB’s achievements from the 2024 Olympic season.

Discover The Hoy No. 6 online at artisancoffeeco.com. Currently available in bags of whole bean 240g. £1.50 of every bag sold will be donated to The Christie Charity, who help to provide world-class cancer care across the country.
