Spar Scotland wholesaler and retailer CJ Lang & Son Ltd has hired a recruit to strengthen its Independent sales team as business development manager.
Ashleigh MacPherson joins the business, where she takes on the role as business development manager for Area 4: Glasgow, Central belt, Ayrshire and Dumfries.
Brian Straiton, sales director at CJ Lang & Son Ltd, said: “It is great to have secured the appointment of Ashleigh. She brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership. This is a great addition for us as a business; it strengthens our team, and she joins us at a very exciting time as the business is continually moving forward with energy and pace.
“Currently we have over 330 Spar stores in Scotland and just over 200 of these are independent retailers. Our strategy for this year is to grow our Spar Scotland business in recruiting new retailers, coupled with developing and growing our existing retailers.”
