Award-winning crisp manufacturer Fairfields Farm ends financial year on a high

Fairfields Farm, the leading producer of premium hand-cooked crisps, is thrilled to announce a successful close to its financial year, marked by a significant 42% increase in overall sales. The Fairfields Farm brand alone has shown exceptional performance, with an impressive growth of 51%, highlighting the Essex-based brand’s ever-increasing popularity among consumers and its solid position in the competitive snack market.

A key driver of this growth has been Fairfields Farm’s strategic focus on expanding its product offerings as well as enhancing production capabilities. This year saw the highly anticipated launch of its new Prawn Cocktail flavour, which has quickly become a consumer favourite. This follows the success of last year’s festive special edition, Maple Glazed Ham, which saw outstanding sales during the Christmas season.

As for production advancements, the business is well on its way to fully utilising its newly installed fryer, which is set to boost overall production capacity by up to 90%. This investment will allow Fairfields Farm to meet the growing demand and prepare for future expansion.

Among the standout performers in Fairfields Farm’s range this year were the 40g single serve packs, which saw substantial growth, primarily due to expanded distribution in food service and wholesale channels. Additionally, Fairfields Farm’s bespoke 25g packs, available on LNER trains and multiple airlines, have been an immense success since their launch, experiencing an extraordinary upward curve in growth and proving especially popular in the travel sector.

“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved this year,” says Robert Strathern, co-founder and managing director at Fairfields Farm. “The significant growth in our sales is a testament to the quality of our products and the hard work of our entire team. We’re particularly excited about our new fryer, which positions us perfectly to continue this growth trajectory and bring our delicious crisps to even more customers”

Looking ahead, Fairfields Farm remains focused on continuing its growth momentum by using its expanded production capacity and exploring new opportunities to bring the brand’s award-winning crisps to an even broader audience. Watch this space”
