On the 24th of September, Dr.PAWPAW proudly celebrated a significant milestone as the brand was officially presented with The King’s Awards for Enterprise by Colonel Robert Murfin, Representative Deputy Lieutenant of the London Borough of Bromley, on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III.
The presentation took place at Dr.PAWPAW HQ, where the team was also honoured to welcome the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Jonathan Andrews, to mark this momentous occasion.
The award recognises Dr.PAWPAW’s outstanding contribution to international trade – an achievement made possible through the vision and dedication of Founders Johnny Paterson and Pauline Paterson, alongside the hard work and commitment of the entire Dr.PAWPAW team.
Colonel Murfin noted that this accolade is awarded sparingly, with Dr.PAWPAW standing proudly as one of only 17 companies across Greater London to receive this prestigious recognition in 2025. He also explained that the King’s Award emblem serves as a symbol of excellence, highlighting the company’s ability to meet the highest standards that underpin the United Kingdom’s competitiveness and prosperity.
To be eligible in the International Trade category, businesses must demonstrate a substantial and sustained increase in global trade, with significant growth in overseas earnings and commercial success across a minimum of three years. Dr.PAWPAW’s achievement in meeting and exceeding this rigorous criteria reflects, not only its commercial growth but also its enduring mission to share innovative, multi-use beauty products with customers worldwide.
“This award is a true honour and testament to the spirit, creativity, and passion that defines Dr.PAWPAW,” said Johnny and Pauline Paterson, co-founders of Dr.PAWPAW. “We are incredibly proud of what our team has achieved and remain committed to bringing our products to an ever-growing global audience.”
This recognition marks a new chapter in Dr.PAWPAW’s journey as the brand continues to expand internationally while maintaining its values of inclusivity, innovation, and care.
