The UK’s leading halal baby food brand For Aisha has expanded their team with the appointment of Lisa Canterbury as Head of UK Sales.

Lisa has worked with leading FMCG brands for over 20 years, helping to deliver the successful rebrand of Encore in grocery and the launch of the brand Applaws Taste Toppers into Pet Speciality. As the Head of UK Sales at For Aisha, Lisa is responsible for managing and growing the existing customer base and has the objective of yielding the brand into new customers and territories.

For Aisha is a rapidly-growing brand within the UK market, is expanding Internationally, with strong focus on the Middle East, and has just been awarded the SME Business Elite Awards 2023 “Best Halal Baby Food Brand” in Europe. Last year the brand outlined its short-term plans to reach £10m in turnover by 2026.

Commenting on her new role, Lisa says: “I joined the For Aisha team because I could see the potential of the brand and the quality of the product, the number one halal brand that was tapping into an unfulfilled gap in the baby food category, but also delivering amazing flavour and a clean label that would appeal to all parents. It’s exciting!

“The transition from the Pet to Baby industry means that I have a good understanding about the importance of emotion to purchase behaviour and how important brand loyalty is as infants grow and their needs change or families get bigger.”

Émelyne Bradley, commercial director at For Aisha, said: “Lisa brings a deep understanding of the UK Grocery market and the need to deliver sales but maintain and grow brand integrity which will be an important goal for For Aisha in 2023. We’re very excited about the year ahead with Lisa and how we plan to grow even further.”

The team will be meeting customers at The Baby Show event at ExCeL London taking place on the 3-5 March where they will be providing free meals at the Baby Feeding Café. They will also be attending The Baby Show events taking place in Manchester, and Birmingham.
