North Point Shopping Centre in Hull has announced that it has secured one of the UK’s fastest-growing variety retailers, B&M, as its latest tenant.
B&M has taken a 26,000sq ft unit at the popular centre in Bransholme, and follows other recent big name lettings at North Point, including Greggs and Bodycare. Following a three-month fit-out, B&M is due to open on Friday June 28th.
North Point Shopping Centre is a thriving retail destination in the north of the city, with annual footfall figures topping six million. The centre is a hub of activity with spaces suitable for retail, hospitality and leisure, with major brands including Boots, CeX, Farmfoods, Hays Travel, New Look, Max Spielmann and Shoe Zone.
Jacob Goodliffe, asset manager at FI Real Estate Management, said: “To secure such a fast growing, major high street name as B&M is a huge coup for us, and a great addition to North Point’s already impressive line-up of stores.”
As one of the UK’s most established names in commercial asset and property management, FI Real Estate Management operates an extensive and diverse portfolio which covers over 15m sq ft, including 5m sq ft of new build developments, across the nation, with assets totalling in excess £1.2bn.
