Waitrose continues to drive footfall this Easter with everything covered to ensure friends and family celebrate with GOOD food and drink to make the four day weekend unforgettable.

Great value, high-welfare produce is at the forefront of customers’ minds – so we will be running a number of deals across the shop and online to ensure they can enjoy top quality food, whilst making a great saving this Easter. Customers will be able to enjoy 1/3rd off high-welfare lamb* from 20th March to 2nd April and 25% off roast essentials, such as our No.1 Free-range Corn Fed Whole Chicken, Roast Potatoes and Bramley Apple Pie.
For celebrations that deserve the GOOD drinks, shoppers will be able to take advantage of 25% off all wine and Champagne priced £6 and over. Available in store and on Waitrose Cellar*. This offer will run from 20th March until 2nd April, making Waitrose the destination for drinks this Easter.
And because Easter wouldn’t be complete without hot cross buns, customers can enjoy two packs for £2.50 and make a saving of £1.20 – that’s just 31p a bun! Across 200 of our shops, we are offering two days of hot cross bun tastings, to inspire customers with pairings whilst driving sales.
Saatchi & Saatchi is running an advertising campaign in national press and out of home sites with the tagline ‘Easter calls for the GOOD stuff’. Inspiring customers to elevate their Easter experience this year, the campaign features hero products including, Sam on Toast, the Hot Cross Bunettone and No.1 Belgian Chocolate Hot Cross Buns.
Waitrose will be delivering a fun social campaign and Content creator and TV personality, Sam Thompson will be kicking off the campaign with a teaser – this fun, light hearted approach to social content is set to help us broaden our target audience.
Farmer and content creator Julius Roberts’ values align perfectly with Waitrose, so he will be giving our customers inspiration on how to cook a high-welfare Easter feast using the best of British produce. With a selection of his recipes appearing in the March issue of Waitrose Food, including his recipe for slow-cooked lamb shoulder with beer carrots which will be cooked by Angela Hartnett on the Easter episode of the Dish! Podcast, for special guest Siobhan McSweeney.
