BootsBoots, the UK’s leading health, wellness and beauty retailer, is making its TikTok Shop debut; bringing customers even more ways to shop its unrivalled beauty ranges online.

Launching on 28 September, Boots’ TikTok ‘Shopfront’ will pilot with a curated selection of No7 skincare and beauty products from ranges including No7 Pro Artist, Good Intent and Prime Forever. Further Boots brands and products are set to launch over the coming months.

As TikTok Shop reports a 55% growth* on LIVE shopping sales, Boots’ debut marks an important step in how the retailer is reaching new and younger customers through emerging shopping channels and social platforms.

Paula Bobbett, chief digital and data officer at Boots, said: “Millions of people are already discovering beauty and skincare products through TikTok and the creators and communities that they trust. This launch gives us an exciting new way to be part of this dynamic experience and help more customers to discover new products and shop those they love in way that feels seamless and relevant to their lives.

“This is an important step in creating a more connected Boots shopping experience. It brings inspiration and purchase closer together, while giving customers the reassurance that they are buying directly from Boots, who they know and trust.”

The launch forms part of Boots’ wider ambition to create more connected customer experiences and bringing beauty content, product discovery and purchase closer together. Through the platform, Boots aims to reach new audiences, while giving existing customers greater choice and flexibility in how and where they shop.

Emily Caine, head of beauty at TikTok Shop, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Boots to TikTok Shop. The arrival reflects how discovery commerce is changing the way millions of people find and shop the products they love right in their For You Feed. Beauty is one of TikTok Shop UK’s strongest and fastest-growing categories, and welcoming the UK’s most iconic high street beauty destination to our platform takes that to a new level. We can’t wait to see them embrace new formats like LIVE Shopping to build real-time connections and create entertaining shopping experiences for a whole new generation of customers.”

The official launch on 28 September will be supported by a live shopping event featuring No7 products, allowing customers to discover and shop products seamlessly through LIVE shopping sessions, while benefiting from exclusive launch offers.

The launch is being delivered in partnership with THG Ingenuity, a leading SaaS technology and operations platform for global ecommerce, with THG Commerce and THG Fulfil managing the TikTok Shop set up, LIVE shopping, social commerce experience and fulfilment.
