Clarks challenges consumers to rethink what’s on their feet

We think carefully about the mattress we sleep on, the chair we sit in and even the pillow we rest our head on. But how much thought do we give to the shoes carrying us through thousands of steps every day?

Clarks is challenging consumers to reconsider what’s on their feet by asking people across the nation, ‘Are You Wearing The Right Shoes?’ in a bold new campaign designed to provoke conversation around everyday comfort and whether we’re making the right choices when it comes to our footwear.

Rolling out across TikTok, social media, OOH, retail and digital environments, the campaign brings the idea to life through a series of unexpected, humorous and deliberately uncomfortable scenarios.

From shoppers rushing to the nearest chair to rest their tired feet, to animated dogs gathering at a humorous C360 FoamTM support group to complain about just how far their owners now want to walk, the campaign takes a playful approach to a familiar problem.

At the centre of the campaign is C360 FoamTM, Clarks’ most advanced proprietary comfort technology, first introduced in 2025 through Clarks Pace Walk, the brand’s first performance walking shoe.

Engineered with dual-layer cushioning to absorb impact, return energy and support natural walking movement, C360 FoamTM helps wearers walk further for longer, while delivering exceptional cushioning and comfort.

Now, Clarks is taking that technology somewhere new…

INTRODUCING CLARKS CODE: performance technology meets everyday style

This Autumn, Clarks is taking C360 FoamTM beyond performance walking and into everyday footwear for the first time with the launch of Clarks Code. The new collection answers a simple
question: why should performance-led comfort only exist in performance shoes?

Style-led, but comfort-driven

Designed to move with consumers throughout the day and across different occasions, Code brings C360 FoamTM technology to a growing range of men’s and women’s silhouettes – without compromising on style.

Think a contemporary loafer with built-in comfort for the morning commute and office, or a sleek white leather trainer that works just as well for dinner as it does for a laid-back weekend.

Certified podiatrist and foot surgeon, Clarks brand ambassador Dr Sarah Haller said: “Our feet carry us through our entire day, yet footwear is often chosen around style or occasion, with comfort becoming a secondary consideration.

What I find exciting about Clarks Code is that you don’t have to make that choice. It brings together styles you’ll genuinely want to wear with exceptional built-in comfort for every step.”

Comfort without the compromise

Advanced comfort technology doesn’t have to come with an inaccessible price tag.

With prices starting from just £89 / $110 / €99.95, Clarks Code brings together contemporary style and advanced comfort technology at an accessible price point.

Available now at Clarks.com, Clarks retail stores and selected wholesale partners.
