bp has appointed Natalie Cattermole as head of fuel sales, UK, bringing together responsibility for both dealer and fleet fuel sales under a single, integrated leadership role.
The move reflects bp’s focus on strengthening its UK fuels business, recognising the continued importance of fuel to customers and the growing interdependence between dealer networks and fleet demand, particularly as fleet requirements increasingly shape network strategy and investment.
Under the new structure, bp’s dealer and fleet teams will work more closely to ensure the UK network is built and developed around customer needs, supporting dealers with strong, reliable demand while helping fleet customers access a national network that works wherever and however they operate across the UK.
Cattermole said: “Fuel remains at the heart of our UK business, and both our dealer and fleet customers are telling us that reliability, coverage and partnership matter more than ever.
“By bringing dealer and fleet fuel sales together, we are better placed to build a network that works for today’s market, supports our partners’ growth, and continues to meet customers wherever they are on their transition journey, whether running internal combustion engine (ICE), mixed or increasingly electrified fleets.”
A growing dealer network with national reach
bp’s UK dealer network continues to grow, with the brand now operating more than 860 dealer sites nationwide, reinforcing its position as the second‑largest fuel network in the UK. This scale provides confidence for dealers investing in their businesses and for fleet customers seeking consistent coverage across the country, including high mileage and time critical operators.
bp works in partnership with independently owned dealers across the UK, supporting them with national brand strength, fuel supply, and retail and convenience expertise.
Supporting fleets through transition
For fleet customers, bp continues to focus on providing dependable fuel supply alongside our EV charging and expanding convenience offer, recognising that the pace of transition differs across sectors and vehicle types.
Fuel still remains a critical part of the fleet mix, particularly for national and regional operators, while bp pulse continues to build out its electric charging network and bp expands its fuel and charge card roaming partnerships to support fleets where electrification is already underway.
Building resilience and long‑term partnerships
The integration of dealer and fleet fuel sales reflects bp’s broader UK strategy to strengthen core businesses, build resilience in a changing market, and support customers through the energy transition at a pace that works for them, while ensuring fleets have access to a joined up, nationwide fuelling and charging network.
Cattermole added: “Our focus is on being a trusted, long‑term partner, for dealers investing in their sites and communities, and for fleet customers balancing operational needs with future change. Bringing these teams together helps us do that better.”
