B&QToday, B&Q has announced the extension of its successful partnership with Deliveroo, to trial the service beyond London and Brighton, taking it to 29 more major UK cities and large towns. From Aberdeen to Bristol, and from Cardiff to Colchester, more renters and home-owners alike, now have easier and speedier access to a selection of around 10,000 products for on-demand delivery, from B&Q.

Since its launch in 2024, the B&Q and Deliveroo trial has continued to evolve, from first being in London and Brighton at B&Q Local stores only, to expanding the range available by extending to larger London stores too.  This third evolution demonstrates B&Q’s on-going commitment to testing faster, more flexible fulfillment options for today’s home improvers by moving to more major cities outside of London.

Serving the UK population across 31 major UK cities and large towns, the extended trial offers one of the fastest store-to-home delivery services for home improvers, with Deliveroo delivering within as little as 25 minutes.

Amelie Gallichan-Todd, supply and logistics director B&Q, said: “We’re constantly exploring new ways to offer our customers more flexible and convenient ways to shop. By further expanding our trial with Deliveroo, to now cover 31 major UK cities and large towns, we’re offering customers – both existing and new – easier and speedier access to around 10,000 B&Q products to help them get their home improvement projects done. As customer expectations continue to change, we continue to evolve and remain focused on making it even easier for people to access the products they want, when and where they want them.”

Suzy McClintock, VP of new verticals at Deliveroo said: “Home improvement has become one of the most popular retail categories on Deliveroo, as more consumers seek out quick and convenient delivery during those DIY emergencies. Extending our successful partnership with B&Q to more cities means more customers can access what they need, when they need it, to keep those home improvement projects moving. Whether it’s paint or power tools, we can have them delivered to your doorstep in as little as 25 minutes.”
