Cares Laboratory, the innovation-led company behind the award-winning Vamoosh™ brand, has appointed Amy Williamson as Senior E-Commerce Lead as the business continues to invest in its commercial leadership team to accelerate digital growth across the UK and international markets.

The appointment comes as Vamoosh celebrates its 10th anniversary and enters a significant new phase of expansion, following its launch into Target stores across the United States and continued growth across more than 30 international markets. As ecommerce continues to play an increasingly important role in the company’s growth strategy, Amy’s appointment will strengthen its digital capabilities and support ambitious plans across Amazon and other online retail channels.

Williamson joins Cares Laboratory from STADA Thornton & Ross, where she was responsible for leading the company’s Amazon sell-out strategy, managing ecommerce budgets and advertising, and driving digital growth across a portfolio of leading consumer healthcare and household brands. During her time there, she also supported the successful launch of Zoflora on TikTok Shop, helping to expand the brand’s digital presence into new consumer channels.

Prior to this, Williamson spent almost three years at Evolution Power Tools, where she led Amazon growth across eight European marketplaces, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium and Sweden. She was responsible for marketplace expansion, promotional planning, advertising strategy, forecasting and inventory management, while working closely with Amazon Vendor Managers and international teams to deliver sustained commercial growth across Europe.

Bringing more than eight years’ experience in ecommerce and Amazon marketplace strategy, Williamson has developed extensive expertise across Amazon Advertising, listing optimisation and A+ Content, promotional planning, forecasting, inventory management, international marketplace expansion, budget management and ROI optimisation. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with Amazon, agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable commercial growth for leading consumer brands.

In her new role, Williamson will lead Cares Laboratory’s ecommerce strategy, driving continued growth across Amazon and digital retail channels while supporting the company’s expanding international footprint and growing portfolio of science-led household cleaning innovations.

“I’m excited to be joining Cares Laboratory as their Senior E-commerce Lead at such an exciting time for the business. Vamoosh has achieved incredible growth, and I look forward to building on that success by enhancing our digital and e-commerce strategy, delivering the best possible experience for our customers and supporting the brand’s continued expansion.” – Amy Williamson

“As Cares Laboratory continues to grow, ecommerce plays an increasingly important role in our success. Amy’s extensive experience in Amazon strategy and digital commerce will help us build on the strong foundations we’ve already established and support the next phase of our growth in the UK and international markets.” – Helen Parry, Cares Laboratory, Managing Director.

Williamson’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic investments by Cares Laboratory as it strengthens its leadership team to support continued innovation and international expansion. Following the recent appointments of Technical Manager Claire White and Head of Supply Chain Meena Sahdev, the business continues to invest across technical, operational and commercial functions as it enters its second decade of growth. Today, Vamoosh products are stocked in more than 5,000 UK retail outlets, exported to over 30 countries worldwide and continue to expand across key international markets, including the United States.
