Cegid unveils Cegid Retail One, a unified, AI-powered experience to streamline store operations

Cegid, a European leader in cloud-based management solutions for finance (treasury, tax, ERP), human resources (payroll, talent management), and retail, today announced the launch of Cegid Retail One. This innovative, multilingual, and modular solution is specifically designed for specialty retail brands and chains struggling with the fragmentation of in-store business applications.

By consolidating Cegid’s core retail solutions alongside daily third-party tools into a single application, Cegid Retail One provides store teams with a consistent, modern, and intuitive interface. This new ecosystem seamlessly unifies sales, stock, and operations into a secure, intelligent experience, supercharged by an embedded AI assistant.

Eliminating App Fatigue for Store Teams

Over recent years, the rapid proliferation of standalone instore applications has complicated daily retail operations. Store staff have faced a frustrating mix of disparate tools, multiple login procedures, and fragmented workflows, which ultimately hinders the adoption of digital solutions.

Cegid Retail One solves this by centralising access to essential store functions, including sales, checkout, customer engagement, inventory management, task coordination, performance monitoring, and operational communication, from a single device. Enabled by Single Sign-On (SSO), it delivers a unified and fluid user experience.

Rather than replacing existing software, this solution connects and harmonises tools into a single, coherent ecosystem. It eliminates the need to switch between applications, allowing staff to work without disruption. The results include:

  • Significant time savings for store teams.
  • Faster onboarding and tool adoption, especially for new hires.
  • Reduced errors caused by constantly switching apps.
  • Elevated service quality and a much smoother customer journey.

A Comprehensive, Connected Ecosystem

Cegid Retail One bridges both third-party daily applications and Cegid Retail’s core mobile solutions, which include:

  • Cegid Retail Live Store: Empowers sales associates across the entire customer journey with fixed or mobile checkout, omnichannel features, customer engagement tools, and digital catalogue access for in-store ordering.
  • Cegid Retail Inventory Tracking: Simplifies stock management by integrating stock-taking, goods receipts, transfers, and omnichannel picking.
  • Cegid Retail Store Performance: Provides managers with ready-to-use business dashboards to effectively monitor and steer store operations.
  • Cegid Retail Store Excellence: Enhances operational efficiency and head-office-to-store communication, covering task management, visual merchandising, and compliance.

Conversational AI: Instant Insight at the Point of Sale

At the heart of Cegid Retail One is a conversational AI assistant accessible via voice or text. This feature enables sales associates to instantly retrieve information and trigger critical business actions mid-interaction. With a single query, AI agents can execute customer searches, pull product recommendations, check stock, or review purchase histories.

Operating strictly within Cegid’s secure data environment and connected via real-time APIs, the assistant grants store teams greater autonomy, efficiency, and responsiveness when interacting with customers.

A Global, Customisable Solution for the Smart Store

Driven by Cegid’s vision of a connected and smart store, Cegid Retail One is customisable, multilingual, and available worldwide.  The user interface features a system of configurable modules, allowing retailers to adapt the digital environment to their unique visual branding. Furthermore, the interface can be tailored to specific user roles, such as managers or sales assistants to maximise role-based productivity.

The store of tomorrow relies on better-equipped, more autonomous experts. By bringing all solutions together into a single smart experience, we free up time and energy that sales staff can reinvest directly into advising customers, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Simplifying the lives of sales staff and store managers means securing and accelerating store performance,” says Nathalie Echinard, Managing Director of Cegid’s Retail Business Division. “Furthermore, several of our clients were involved in co-developing this solution, and we wanted them to choose its name themselves at our Cegid Connections Retail 2026 event in Prague.”
