Co-op has aunched two new stores on 2 Feburary to serve and support communities in Costessey (Norfolk) and Hednesford (Staffordshire)
The near 3,000sq ft purpose-built convenience store located in the Queen’s Hills community, Costessey opens between 7am-10pm daily and, has created 15 jobs, while the Hednesford store is located in Noble Road, off Pye Green Road. It opens between 6am-10pm daily and, has also created 15 local jobs.
Designed to serve and support their communities, conveniently, both stores include an in-store bakery and Costa Coffee express dispenser, alongside a focus on fresh, healthy products; meal ideas; everyday essentials; food-to-go; chilled beers and award winning wines; ready meals; pizzas and, free-from; vegan and plant-based products.
Customer car parking is available at both locations, along with an ATM provides access to cash in the community. Plus parcel collection and drop off services are also available through an InPost Locker for added ease and convenience.
In Costessey, the online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo; Just Eat and Uber Eats – groceries are picked fresh in the local store and then delivered quickly and conveniently, locally.
Both stores include a soft plastic recycle unit is also available in store to enable the community to recycle ‘soft plastics’ including: crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches – ensuring all Co-op’s own food packaging is recyclable through either local authority kerbside collections, or the in-store soft plastic recycling.
