Convenient confectionery for retailers from World of Sweets

Convenience retailers looking to increase revenue through confectionery are being offered round the clock support from World of Sweets.

The importer, distributor and wholesaler of confectionery has improved and upgraded its service to customers via its app, field sales team and increased merchandising.

Its growing product range includes traditional sweetshop favourites, kids novelty ranges and an exciting selection of US confectionery.

The World of Sweets app and website have both been updated to create an improved customer experience including the ability to take direct card payments.

Retailers can browse and order to suit them with the app and website both showing all the brands stocked by World of Sweets.Own brands Candy Realms, Crazy Candy Factory and award winning Bonds of London brand are stocked alongside  partner brands like Vimto, Nerds, Tootsie and Warheads.

Deals will be automatically added at the checkout ensuring retailers take advantage of the offers available to them and the website and app will react instantly to products out of stock and sales opportunities.

Retailers will also be able to track new orders and review historical  ones and discover the latest offers, top sellers and exciting new products to tempt their customers.

Delivery will be within 48 hours on a minimum order of ten cases.

In addition the World of Sweets field sales team, formerly the Bonds field sales team, can add a personal element to the working relationship with advice to support confectionery sales growth.

There will be free merchandising solutions available to convenience retailers to ensure products stand out to customers, including the Bonds Candy Cup stand and eye catching American confectionery units.

Helen Bradshaw, sales and marketing director at World of Sweets said: “As a major distributor, importer and wholesaler of confectionery, it’s important for us to work closely with the convenience retailers who purchase from us to ensure their business growth and success.

“These recent improvements do just that. Having a main personal contact means retailers won’t miss anything and being able to purchase products to suit them makes the whole process far more convenient. Both equal an improved customer experience.

“The range through World of Sweets offers is vast. We have exciting products under Bonds of London, including the Candy Cup range and the Pun Boxes plus traditional sweetshop favourite.

“Retailers will also be able to purchase from our extensive American range and partner brands including Anthon Berg, Warheads, Nerds and Vimto.”

We want them to enjoy and share with their customers all the wonderful confectionery our buyers source from around the globe and be ahead of their competition when it comes to offering their customers the very best.”

World of Sweets is the UK’s largest confectionery distributor, importer, and wholesaler, supplying thousands of customers across all retail channels.

Offering a world of distribution solutions from e-commerce sites serving 55,000 customers per week to Hancocks wholesale stores with over 22,000 customers, field sales and a direct to store team covering 36,000 independent customers and a national accounts team covering all UK retail channels.
