DIRTEA launches Creatine & Collagen with Pure Essentials Range

DIRTEADIRTEA, the award-winning brand shaping the modern functional wellness category, enters a new chapter with the launch of DIRTEA Pure Essentials – a clean, foundational daily system, built around two of the most researched and relied-upon ingredients in modern supplementation, collagen and creatine.

Moving beyond functional mushrooms, Pure Essentials represents a strategic category expansion for DIRTEA, positioning the brand as an authority in foundational, evidence-led nutrition.

Pure Essentials is built on the principle that long-term health is created from the base up. While functional mushrooms remain central to DIRTEA’s world, they work optimally when layered onto strong daily foundations. Creatine and collagen form that base, supporting structural integrity, cellular energy production, and cognitive performance.

The launch is a direct response to consumer behaviour observed within DIRTEA’s existing global customer base.

“Pure Essentials came directly from how our community was already using DIRTEA,” said Andrew Salter, founder of DIRTEA. “People were adding creatine and collagen to their DIRTEA Coffee and Matcha every day, but they wanted versions they could trust – taken daily, without fillers or compromise. Pure Essentials is our response: clear, foundational support designed to sit underneath everything else.”

True to DIRTEA’s formulation philosophy and commitment to purity, potency and transparency, both products are intentionally stripped back. Designed to be taken together daily, both powders are completely unflavoured, free from fillers, and dissolve easily into coffee, matcha, smoothies or water, at any time of day.

Both SKUs contain just one active ingredient and are independently tested by Eurofins and Light Labs to verify purity and safety, reinforcing DIRTEA’s commitment to clinical credibility within an often over-marketed category.

Jessica Salmanpour, CEO of DIRTEA, continues: “As a woman, I was tired of collagen being sold through beauty hype instead of real function and creatine being sold as gym bro coded supplement. Collagen and creatine are two of the most researched ingredients in modern supplementation, yet both categories have become overcomplicated. At DIRTEA, we applied our standard of purity, potency and transparency to create cleaner, smarter formulas – using clinically respected Peptan® collagen, independently tested by Eurofins and Light Labs, and 100% high-quality creatine monohydrate with nothing unnecessary added. This is not about trends or cosmetic claims; it’s about resilience, everyday strength and supporting the body and mind properly, over time.”

DIRTEA Pure Essentials Collagen delivers 5,000mg per serving of Type I and Type III hydrolysed collagen peptides, chosen for easy absorption and everyday effectiveness. Type I collagen supports skin, hair, and nails, while Type III supports deeper connective tissue. The collagen is sourced from clinically researched Peptan®, chosen for its neutral taste texture, solubility, and bioavailability, enabling easy integration into hot and cold beverages.

DIRTEA Pure Essentials Creatine contains 100% micronised creatine monohydrate, the most extensively studied form of creatine globally. When taken consistently, creatine supports ATP regeneration, contributing to physical strength, muscular endurance, and cognitive performance, even outside of training.

Unlike trend-driven supplements built around flavour systems, aesthetic positioning, or short-term performance peaks, Pure Essentials is positioned as foundational infrastructure for daily health.

The move signals DIRTEA’s expansion from functional mushroom specialist to a broader functional nutrition authority, creating a layered system where foundational ingredients underpin performance mushrooms, rather than compete with them.

Welcome to the next evolution of functional nutrition – built on the essentials.
