Fireaway PizzaFireaway Pizza, the UK’s fastest-growing pizza franchise known for its authentic Italian ingredients and fresh, made-to-order pizzas, is set to relaunch its Chislehurst restaurant this weekend, on Sunday 18th January, following a change of ownership.

Located on Chislehurst Road, the restaurant is now owned by local entrepreneur Mazhar Zahoor, who has taken over the store with a focus on re-energising the brand locally, strengthening customer experience and reintroducing Fireaway’s bold, authentic pizza offering to the Chislehurst community.

To mark the relaunch, Fireaway Chislehurst will be giving away 100 free Margherita pizzas on opening day (Sunday 18th January), available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, customers visiting during the first two weeks after opening will be able to enjoy ANY pizza for £5, running from Sunday 18th January until Saturday 1st February. As if that wasn’t enough, locals will also receive a free garlic bread or potato wedges with their first order, giving even more pizza lovers a reason to visit and try the menu. All locals need to do to claim these opening offers is register using Chislehurst’s sign up link and they’ll receive a QR code via email to redeem in store.

Mazhar brings a strong business background to the role, having successfully run a number of local retail businesses alongside owning a well-established Indian restaurant, Albany Tandoori in Enfield. Inspired by Fireaway’s distinctive flavour, fresh ingredients and authentic approach to pizza, he describes taking on the Chislehurst restaurant as an exciting next step and a new challenge.

The relaunch will see Mazhar’s brother, Zaheer Ahmed, managing the day-to-day running of the restaurant, supported by a team of experienced staff who have previously worked at the Chislehurst branch over the years, ensuring the store continues to deliver a high-quality experience to customers from day one.

“We’re really excited to relaunch Fireaway Chislehurst and welcome customers back into the store under new ownership,” said Mazhar Zahoor, owner of Fireaway Chislehurst. “I’ve always had a passion for food and hospitality, and after trying Fireaway for the first time I instantly fell in love with how fresh and authentic the pizzas tasted – completely different to anything else on the market. This is a brilliant opportunity for me to take on a new challenge and bring something exciting to the local area. We can’t wait to meet the community, introduce new customers to Fireaway and celebrate the relaunch in the best way possible, with 100 free pizzas on day one and £5 pizzas for the first two weeks.”

“This relaunch represents an important step in strengthening Fireaway’s overall portfolio and we’re thrilled to welcome Mazhar to the Fireaway family,” added George Whiting, head of marketing at Fireaway. “Mazhar brings strong business experience and a genuine passion for the hospitality sector, and his commitment to delivering quality and consistency will be key as Fireaway Chislehurst enters its next chapter. We’re confident the local community will embrace the relaunch and enjoy everything the store has to offer.”

Fireaway Chislehurst is located at 53 Chislehurst Road, Chislehurst, BR7 5NP, and will serve customers for dine-in, collection and delivery. Orders can be placed via the Fireaway app and website, as well as through Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
