Fireaway Pizza
– the UK’s fastest-growing pizza franchise known for its authentic Italian ingredients and fresh, made-to-order menu – is set to relaunch its Gloucester restaurant next week on Tuesday 25th November, following a full change of ownership and the appointment of an entirely new team.
The store, which has been operating in Gloucester for the past year, is now owned and run by local entrepreneur, Venu Rangu, who has taken over the restaurant with a vision to rebuild the brand locally, elevate customer experience and reintroduce Fireaway’s bold, authentic pizza offering to the Gloucester community.
Free Pizza
To mark the relaunch, Fireaway Gloucester will be giving away 100 free Margherita pizzas on opening day (Tuesday 25th November), available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, customers visiting during relaunch week (Tuesday 25th November to Monday 1st December) will be able to enjoy Fireaway’s £5 pizza promotion, as well as claim a free garlic bread or potato wedges with their first order, as long as they’ve registered using Fireaway’s sign-up link.
The relaunch also signals a fresh start for the store’s team, with all-new staff appointed for the reopening. Fireaway Gloucester now employs eight local team members, including in-store chefs, front-of-house staff and delivery drivers – reflecting Venu’s commitment to creating new employment opportunities in the community.
With 21+ years of experience in the IT industry and a background in business and hospitality, Venu brings a unique blend of operational expertise and passion to the restaurant. Inspired by Fireaway’s quality and distinct flavour experience, he describes the decision to take on the Gloucester store as the “perfect new challenge”.
“We’re really excited to relaunch Fireaway Gloucester and welcome customers back into the store,” said Venu Rangu, owner of Fireaway Gloucester. “After taking over the store, my goal has been to rebuild the business with a renewed focus on quality, consistency and exceptional service. The atmosphere we’re creating is warm, friendly and fully community-focused – and we can’t wait to meet as many local customers as possible on relaunch day. Giving away 100 free pizzas is our way of saying: Fireaway Gloucester is back, and better than ever.”
“This relaunch represents an important step in solidifying Fireaway’s presence in Gloucester,” added Anis Hadji, managing director of Fireaway. “Venu brings an incredible combination of business knowledge, IT and operational experience and genuine passion for the brand. His commitment to quality, operational excellence and community engagement makes him the ideal person to lead Fireaway Gloucester into its next chapter. We’re confident customers will feel the difference from day one.”
Fireaway Gloucester is located at 126-128 Eastgate Street, GL1 1QT, and will serve customers for dine-in, collection and delivery. Orders can be placed via the Fireaway app or website, as well as through Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
