Flying Tiger Redical, owner and operator of The Liberty Romford, has announced the signing of Danish variety retailer Flying Tiger. The brand will be taking a 4,500sq ft space within the destination. This latest deal further advances The Liberty Romford’s positioning as one of London’s leading satellite shopping centres.

The signing of Flying Tiger follows a series of high-impact signings at The Liberty Romford in the last 12 months, including Lovisa, MINISO, 80’s Casual Classics, and Rituals. Together, these signings illustrate The Liberty Romford’s continued commitment to delivering a high-quality mix of retail, leisure, and F&B that resonates with its catchment, drives footfall and enhances dwell time.

Flying Tiger is renowned for its fun, design-led and affordable product offering, which appeals across demographics and promotes high frequency visits. Its arrival at The Liberty Romford supports Redical’s vision of delivering ‘category-defining’ brands that enhance guest experience and drive incremental spend.

Daniel Tucker, Asset Manager at Redical, commented: “Flying Tiger is an incredibly complementary brand to add to our ever-evolving tenant line-up. Their unique retail format further enhances our broader offer and will strengthen our position as the destination of choice for the local community and wider London-satellite shoppers. The addition of Flying Tiger further reinforces our capacity to attract relevant national and international brands seeking high-quality locations outside central London.”

A spokesperson from Flying Tiger added: “The Liberty Romford is a key location and important step in our ongoing growth as a business in the UK.  With its dynamic mix of retail, leisure, and family-friendly experiences, this is a true shopping destination. We’re excited to showcase our collection to the local Romford community. With new items coming into stock every month, there’s always something new for our shoppers to discover. Our philosophy is simple: a richer life doesn’t cost a fortune.”

The signing of Flying Tiger reflects the next phase of The Liberty Romford’s transformation – from a traditional retail centre to a diversified, experience-led destination that meets 21st-century consumer demands.

Cushman & Wakefield and Green & Partners acted for The Liberty Romford, whilst RAB Retail represented Flying Tiger.
