FuelHub partnered with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) to provide nutritious and healthy meal options for staff working at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, the sport’s biggest and most prestigious tournament.

FuelHub ensured that staff behind the scenes at Alexandra Palace were equipped with the food they needed to perform at their best during the tournament, which is renowned for its intense atmosphere, stars such as Luke Littler, and demanding schedule.

Supporting a wide variety of sports team and events, FuelHub provides nutrition for a number of sporting organisations including Team GB, Fulham FC and Harlequins RFU, as well as delivering more than 20,000 meals a week to its dedicated D2C customer base across the UK.

PDC chief executive officer, Matthew Porter, highlighted the value of this partnership, stating: “It’s great that FuelHub supported the PDC staff working at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship. Its products provided a healthy and nutritious option for our staff and was vital to keeping up their energy at the sport’s biggest tournament. We’re grateful for their support at such a key time of year.”

Michelle Laithwaite, CEO of FuelHub, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, saying: “We’re proud to have fuelled the PDC at this year’s World Darts Championship. This is the first step towards changing the narrative on health and nutrition in darts. By supporting the staff behind the scenes, we’re demonstrating that peak performance starts with proper nutrition.”

The Paddy Power World Darts Championship takes place annually, showcasing the world’s top darts players and drawing global audiences. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to nutrition, both on and off the oche, by prioritising the health and well-being of staff who make the event a success.
