Fujifilm UK has unveiled a brand refresh to its photo printing services with the launch of PHOTO by Fujifilm across its 150 independent retail partners.

Set to be one of the biggest transformations in the photo industry on high streets all over the UK and Ireland, the announcement is Fujifilm’s latest commitment to supporting independent high street retailers.

Each of its independent partners – which exclusively stock Fujifilm photo printing services – will be provided new brand guidelines and a fresh new exterior to entice new and existing customers. The move has been introduced in a bid to create a nationwide brand, while maintaining the independence of the individual shops. As part of the PHOTO by Fujifilm launch, each store will be fitted with bespoke signage putting the shop name front and centre of the new branding.

This year has already seen a number of Fujifilm’s retail partners announce a positive start to the year, despite uncertainty from the economic climate. Fujifilm is hoping that the launch of the brand refresh will help build on the momentum, allowing its retail partners to better compete on the high street.

Theo Georghiades, general manager for Imaging Solutions Fujifilm UK, said: “We understand the importance placing photography at the heart of local communities can have, which is why we continue to invest in our independent retail partners. Photography remains an inspiration in our daily lives, and we are finding there is a greater desire than ever to have physical photo prints, whether taken on a smartphone or digital camera.

“Launching PHOTO by Fujifilm allows us to celebrate the artistry of our independent retailers while establishing a consistent nationwide service that customers can trust. They are all true specialists when it comes to photo printing, and when coupled with the quality of Fujifilm paper and printing technology, it provides a truly outstanding service to customers.”

All of Fujifilm’s retailers are equipped with the latest technology to offer customers personalised photo gifts, including restorations of old photos, photo books and canvases.

Theo Georghiades added: “We are proud with the new vision provided through the latest branding. We have had extremely positive feedback from our partners and cannot wait to see the signage appear up and down the UK’s high streets.”

Fujifilm has been supporting local business owners since 1996, and boasts independent retail partners throughout the UK and Ireland, from Nottingham to Newhaven. As part of its support to its retail partners, Fujifilm offers training services, expert business advice and 24/7 technical guidance.
