GressinghamLeading duck brand, Gressingham Foods has revealed its most exciting on-pack promotion to date with luxury appliance brand, Miele, which will give customers the chance to win a state-of-the-art oven – the perfect companion to create restaurant-quality meals at home.
The campaign, which will run in all major supermarkets and retailers from the beginning of October for three months, will feature on 450,000 packs of Gressingham Duck’s fresh duck products in stores nationwide. It will also be advertised to Gressingham’s Supper Club’s 145,000+ email subscribers and promoted on social media. The competition will also coincide with a TV advertising campaign designed to further promote duck in the run up to Christmas.
Gressingham and Miele, who share a passion for exceptional quality and culinary excellence, are inviting food lovers to elevate their cooking experience with this high-value competition. Giving duck lovers the chance to win a Miele oven worth £4,529 (RRP) or the runners-up prize, a 4-piece stainless steel pan set (RRP £599). All customers entering the competition will also receive a unique voucher worth 10% off a wide selection of Miele appliances.
The main prize of a Miele H7860 BP oven offers a seamless touch screen design, features a wireless food probe to aide automatic cooking programmes, BrilliantLight and a camera inside the oven compartment for enhanced visibility. It also includes Pyrolytic cleaning, Moisture Plus for optimal baking and roasting and WiFi connectivity via Miele@home for remote control.
“This on-pack promotion with Miele is our most exciting to date,” says Rebecca Alderton, brand manager at Gressingham Duck®. “Not only is this the most expensive on pack prize we’ve ever offered, but the competition also coincides with our busiest time of the year in the run up to Christmas. We hope this partnership with Miele and joint promotion of the competition will drive traffic to our website and introduce new customers to both brands.”
Gressingham Foods is also further supporting the promotion with a series of TV advertising to boost awareness and drive sales of the Gressingham brand.
To launch the competition, Miele is hosting an activation weekend in all eight Experience Centres on 30th-31st August, where cooking with duck will be the main theme and Miele and Gressingham Duck recipe cards will be distributed, alongside a special discount on Gressingham products.
“At Miele, we are committed to inspiring culinary excellence through innovative, precision-engineered appliances that bring out the very best in every ingredient. Our partnership with Gressingham Duck is a natural fit – pairing its exceptional produce with our state-of-the-art oven, including three exclusive recipes which will be hosted on our blog.” Dan Young, Cooking Category Manager for Miele GB,
Gressingham Foods produces a range of products including fresh duck and speciality poultry products, Aromatic Crispy Duck Kits and a Bistro range featuring a wide selection of delicious duck classics. All of Gressingham’s ducks are reared free-to-roam in barns on Red Tractor assured farms in Suffolk and Norfolk.
Gressingham’s products are available from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda and Morrisons.
