HIDE expands Tesco range with two new high-protein ready-to-eat curry meals

HIDE, the ready-to-eat nutrition brand, co-owned by Grace Beverley and backed by Scientific Ambassador Dr Rupy Aujla, is expanding its range with two new delicious high-protein meals available exclusively in selected Tesco stores from Monday (19th October).

Both HIDE’s Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Katsu Curries will give shoppers two conveniently delicious, high-protein options with a nutritious twist on some of Britain’s favourite curries.

Developed by chefs in response to consumer demand for bolder, spicier flavours, these dishes were designed to become consumers’ ‘unguilty pleasure’ this winter.

Both meals deliver 30g of protein and at least 9g of fibre per serving, with protein and fibre sourced all from ingredients you would find in your own kitchen – including chicken breast, legumes, whole grains and vegetables.

Dr Rupy Aujla, Scientific Ambassador and Partner at HIDE, said:

“With the weather getting colder and the days getting shorter, food starts playing a big role in our feelings of comfort and even our happiness. We want warming, satisfying, often bigger meals in the winter to make us feel good. But comfort food doesn’t have to be takeout or ultra-processed snacks.

“Warm spices, whole foods, complex carbs and fibre to make you feel fuller and more satisfied – these things are just as comforting. And with the new meals we developed at HIDE, you can have the perfect balance between a satisfying meal and healthy nutrition”

HIDE’s take on this British favourite combines tender chicken breast and katsu curry sauce with edamame brown rice, miso and tenderstem broccoli.

Key Product Highlights

  • 30g protein and 9g fibre per serving

  • 434 kcal per serving

  • Two portions of fruit and vegetables towards your 5-a-day

  • 26 plants and spices

  • No artificial flavours, colours or preservatives

  • Less than 5g of added sugar

  • Exclusively available at Tesco (£5.00 in Superstores, £5.75 in Tesco Express)

Staying true to HIDE’s core principles, both recipes are made with whole-food ingredients and contain no added protein powders or isolated fibre ingredients.

Faraz Nagree, founder and CEO of Lean Kitchen Network and Founder of HIDE, commented: “The days are getting shorter; everyone wants more warming and comforting meals. The usual healthy options like salads don’t really fill that need, so we were keen to create some more satisfying, filling alternatives that are still just as healthy.

“That’s where our new Chicken Tikka Masala and Katsu curries come in. Developing these recipes was a direct response to customer demand for more spice and bolder flavours, together with our usual high protein and whole foods approach.”

The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Katsu Curry will both be available exclusively in selected Tesco stores from 19 October.
